★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I may be looking through rose-tinted lenses, but it seems that the Mala Xiang Guo here has become a watered-down version of its glorious past.
Pros:
- The mushroom selection is extraordinary, and the pork and beef are fresh.
- Quite affordable.
Cons:
- The fish and prawns are not fresh, probably because they keep it in an inaccessible bin and no one reaches for it!
- Spice levels are poorly calibrated. Medium spicy is slightly less spicy than a McSpicy.
