Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Was a bit pricey but the egg tart was really quite delicious.

Very VERY flaky pastry with many layers, but a little hard. Of course you can't compare it to Lord Stow in Macau (my fave!), however it's not too bad for a taste of Macau in Singapore.

Delicious egg tarts! Was expecting queue but there wasn't! good for me but bad for them! If I am nearby I don't mind getting a few home! P.S. I live in the west especially came here to support!

I'm sorry. But this place is no where near the original from Macau. Used to buy it back from Macau to Singapore and still tastes way better than this. The crust is hard and thick. Only thing decent is the filling, which is just normal, nothing very special about it. The small ones are even harder. I'm extremely disappointed as the one from Macau set the bar so high, where it's the best egg tarts I've ever eaten. Don't bother trying this place unless you want to know how bad it can be

First time try this, it’s still ok. There are plenty of room to improve. Comparing to the original Portuguese egg tart in Macau, the fillings should be more creamy, crust is thinner. Guess this is a healthier version I can’t taste the sweetness. Hope can have the improved version in my next visit.

Loved it! Just the right pastry crust texture and generous egg custard in the middle. Its less sweet so no guilt indulging in a few...

Unfair to pull comparison between Madeleine and the two well known shops in Macau, especially when you do find cafes and stalls making their own variation of the Portuguese egg tarts just as well. Madeleine made ones have a chrunchier thicker pastry crust. A stiff set egg custard, which isn't overly sweet. Really rather enjoyable I'd have to say. Even better when pair with a 50 cents 250ml bottle of coke.

Had the chance to try Madeline Portuguese egg tart. The taste of the egg tart is great, very soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The egg is very sweet, soft and savoury. However price on a higher side. I would say that it is good to try once. There’s no place to stop if you are driving. So please take note. Stop nearby the residential area and walk over to buy.
