We are SO HAPPY with the photos and entire experience and we couldn't ask for more. Bernard is awesome. He was super patient with our two geriatric dogs, suggesting different poses and backgrounds and even cleaning up the mess the dogs left. And his photos are - breathtaking. Communication was great, turnaround time was lightning fast, and his studio exudes peace. We recommend him unreservedly.

My family and I really enjoyed our first studio Family & Pet Portrait photoshoot experience with Bernard from @magicdow.pets today! Always wanted to have my parrots photos taken professionally but don't know who to look for until one day my client recommended me to Bernard! We are pretty sure this comes to our mind ~ what do we want to achieve when we engage a photographer.. Bernard is one great pawtograher! Bernard was very patient with my boy even though he wasn't listening to commands and getting easily distracted. The experience was fun, and the pictures are unbelievably adorable. If you're looking to capture the thing you love most about your babies, don't think twice about engaging Bernard.

From the get go, Bernard was extremely responsive and patient in his responses. I cannot deny that I decided to go with him due to the way he had captured the portraits of furkids. There was a sense of aura and mystery about them. But the clincher turned out to be how understanding a person he was. Initially I had wanted both and outdoor and studio session. But circumstances changed and my baby did not seem to be able to take to the outdoors anymore. Bernard was extremely understanding. He was kind and considerate on the day of the shoot as well. Knowing that the baby has a critical illness, he was generous with his praises. She struggled to keep her eyes open. She struggled to sit due to weakness in her legs. Did Bernard lose his patience? No. He cheered her on even more. He cheered for her even more than I did ??. What touched me most was Bernard suggested taking the baby downstairs to capture her in some outdoor glory. I didn’t say it then but that warmed my heart. She might have been too weak to do an outdoor shoot as originally planned but Bernard wanted to help me capture her in different lights. That spoke volumes of his heart. He didn’t have to. But he did. Thank you Bernard. Krispy always loved the outdoors and you allowed her to be captured in one of her first loves. Bernard has captured Krispy beautifully. He ‘corrected’ her cataract for her, to allow her to shine even more. Photography is about capturing the soul, the last vestiges of a beautiful memory. Beyond seeing his work as a business entity, Bernard has gone way beyond that. He helped Krispy and I to create another beautiful memory that will ease the pain she is currently going through. Thank you Bernard for that magical hour. Thank you for sharing the shots so quickly as that brought a smile to my face even when her condition worsened. A picture paints a thousand words. We engaged Bernard twice, once for an outdoor shoot, and once for a studio shoot. We absolutely loved all the photos and have recommended to many of our own clients to get their pets' portraits shot by him. Can't even decide which photo we like the most to have printed out! It is also a blessing that we managed to get our foster dog, Cara, shot by Bernard. Those were the most beautiful photos we have of her before she sadly passed. Highly recommended for any pet lovers out there!
