Read many reviews, surprised that there are some good comments. 1. The roast duck- meat too old and hard, very very very salty. I am not sure if the chef used a different measurement units. 2. Veggies - too salty. 3. Beef - too salty... but tender Service ok and friendly. Seriously, the chef needs to be mindful of the saltiness ... bad for health... For those health freaks, think twice before coming if the chef does not change his salty cooking style.

Food was good, but the service could be improved. Celebrated a special occasion here yesterday (Thursday night). The fried fish and claypot chicken soup was very good. The soup was rich in essence with the chicken scooped out and served in a separate plate. The fried fish was very crispy and the sauce was not too salty. The crispy garlic bits was a nice touch. However, the rice took very long to be served. Usually in other Chinese restaurants, it is served quickly after the first dish or served together. We waited for 10 minutes, requested for the rice, waited again for some time, requested for the rice again when another waitress served us the 2nd dish (toufu), waited for another 10 minutes before it was served. As a more premium restaurant, I was taken aback by the slowness in serving something as simple as rice. We had to eat our dishes without rice for almost 30 mins, when it came, the food almost settled already and we we ended up struggling to finish the rice as almost half of the dishes were already eaten before the rice was served. I think this is not normal in Chinese restaurants I’ve dined in. It’s also a weekday night and there’s not many tables in the restaurant. The staff were very attentive in refilling our teapot… but attentiveness could have been more consistent in other areas.

Been a while. hence my photos not looking great. This is a lovely lunch venue for catch ups. It's lovely to over look the beautiful Marina One Garden. It's bright with a 'bustle' even. I think in the evening it would equally as nice. Chef Yong and team take good care of you with its "old school" Chinese restaurant service. I don't know her name, but there is a charismatic and very engaging Auntie, whose energy I admire. She just makes everything "brighter" some how. Lohei was good. Australian Slip lobster and Beef Hor fun.. yummy. got the tender and "char" from wok skills in the beef. It is a little off the traditional CBD but worth a short walk or drive. Parking is easy but a bit expensive.

We love the soup, clay pot rice and hor fun. Peking duck is okay, could find better ones! But highly recommended for refined chinese cuisine :)

I enjoyed the mixture of modern and nostalgic vibe here. Menu provides many options to choose. For this first time visit, we just ordered most of the signature dishes. Definitely would love to visit again to try more. Ribeye with soy sauce was very tender and well-seasoned. Seafood ingredients in the Seafood HorFun were very generous and tasty. But I hope they can improve the table arrangements as some tables especially the 2 pax ones are so close to each other. They re-arranged for us to sit at a round table otherwise would feel too wired to dine very close to the next table sitting 4pax…

This well known restaurant relocated to MBFC East Tower. The food is still consistent and very good quality. Must try the fried chicken, roast duck, roast pork, mee sua noodles. For dessert much definitely try the fried durian

Nice restaurant with really nice dishes. Generally the appetizers we ordered are quite nicely done. The fish we had is really awesome. Don't be deceived by the plain looking Yee mee, which doesn't taste plain at all. It is really nice!

My photography skills did not do justice to these flavourful dishes. Impressive. Though price may be on the high side, the taste is worth every penny. Duck lovers, you may want to try the roast duck instead of Peking duck.
