It was enjoyable to make terrariums and all which gave them that one star. But sadly, the customer service was absolute tragic. Called in to discuss of a potential replanting, re-diverted to an email instead. Wrote in to highlight that plant rotted in a span of 3-4 days when terrarium was place with another similar set side by side in my room with substantial sunlight for growth and also cooling, which was as instructed by MYO. Checked if I could get a free of charge plant, only to be blamed for placing in a poor environment and watering it too much (when I have not opened it since completion 3-4 days ago). I could understand if the plant rotted after a few weeks or so. But a span of 3-4 days? So they gave me a reply saying their supplier do not provide warranty, and plants may not adapt in a new environment which I have come to terms with. But the tone of team's reply was just sad, especially the end. I quote "There was no problem with the explanation all along. ". Clearly, to them, I was wrong for placing in a wrong spot of my room, or watered it too much, when I did none of them, because a similar terrarium was placed side by side with it and still thriving. Anyway, if you are in for a workshop with Make Your Own, then be prepared that in the event that your plant dies, be it in a span of 1 day or 1 year, they will put the blame at you at the start for potentially placing it in a wrong spot of your house, or watering too much (standard protocol for replying). I think to replant is affordable, but to go through that rude customer service, time wasted.

I attended the acrylic pouring workshop with my girlfriend and we enjoyed the session conducted by the enthusiastic and friendly instructors. This is indeed a great thumbs up! :)

Moss terrarium workshop was interesting and fun but do not expect a full one-to-one coaching. You will be given a handbook with instructions to follow in order to make your own Moss terrarium. Prices are quite steep but experience was worthwhile.

I came within the operation day and timing as stated in the email for the collection of my order. There isn't any in advance notice in the collection email that the shop will be closed until 1pm on Saturday during their operation hours too. However, there isn't any contact number that I can directly call for the staff to assist me in this situation. I'm deeply disappointed in this as I have to wait outside for an hour when I'm in a rush for another meeting. I did knock the door many times but there isn't any response despite having a lady staff inside. I also only received a response roughly 40minutes after waiting via Facebook messenger. Item however, was pretty and well received when I receive my order. Weighting the experience, it's a rather disappointing in general. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last order with Make Your Own. I'm only able to visit on Saturday as the operation days and hours are impossible for me to head down when I have to work too. I hope any future customers will not experience the same thing that I have gone through.

It was a good cafe to sit for a while, but the seats weren't too comfortable, which dissuaded staying longer and ordering more. The yuzu lemon tea was good, but the chocolate brownie wasn't. Generic tasting with peanut crumbs sprinkled on it. They do have art class for public, teaching you how to do terrariums or lighting fixtures etc.

Visited this cute venue for an acrylic pour workshop. The instructor was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the experience. The location is just a short walk from Upper Aljunied Rd, and it’s small circular sign is viewable from the street. Given my experience, I would happily participate in any other workshops they offer. Check out their website for kits you can do at home.
