Mandarin Gardens

Too huge and too chaotic Condo is old and there are repairs/noisey Units and fixtures are old, smelly, moulds on the walls/doors, rusts on irons, old & damaged wooden floors/skirting, windows probably from time when it was built, the corridors are used like own living space and there are always some repairs where other units aren't informed about such works. Expected rents pushed up without any logic to closely match neighboring brand new seaside residences condo which is beautiful so totally illogical why old condo would! It's kind of used like vacation house where landlords put units on rent and they still come and use condo facilities making it more crowded! The only good thing is there is a shop and can walk dogs in condo.

Huge sprawling condominium. Lots of parking spots for visitors. The individual units are also spacious. Has full facilities, table tennis, Squash, tennis, badminton/footsie, swimming pool, sauna and steam bath.

An old project but very spacious and has numerous facilities. There is a restaurant called 'Thai Pan' open to public. There are 4 tennis courts (need to book in advance), table tennis room, squash court, swimming pool, gym, steam room and sauna. Also there are BBQ pits alongside the swimming pool. There are side gates which allows entry into an underpass which will lead to East Coast Park.

Rented a unit at Blk 3 on 8th floor, sorry to say it's hell for me. Although the condo is located in a nice environment with the beach next door, I believe the management did not do a good job in maintaining this 40 year old project. If you stay here, you will realize in the evening when you swim, there are cockroaches crawling everywhere, and the worst thing is the condo is infested with mites that bite. It was so torturous for me that I developed hyper sensitive skin as a reaction to the bites. I engaged my own pest control to my own unit twice, but the situation did not get better, I informed the MCST, and they replied they did fogging every week. I doubt they were tackling the root of the problem. and here is also infested with pigeons, which will bring along lots of environmental and health issues. You may ask if it's so bad why I didn't move, because it's so difficult to find short term rental in Singapore for anything less than a year. I'm writing this to warn the public, I pray you are not the next one renting here. God bless you!

bestest condo bester than eastvae which is bestest

This is just a fantastic condo. I've lived here for 11 years and have had so many fun and memorable memories in the great facilities. This is less of a condo and more of a funhouse/mall. Not only is there an art class/studio that also takes up adults looking to study art and a minimart, there is also a nail salon, tutoring and a dentist, alongside many more. The water coolers are always clean and the security guards are strict on enforcing the law however nice in other situations. The apartments are spacious with a great view of the sea as well. The community is also fantastic and diverse, and I know so many amazing people who live in Mandarin Gardens right now, though I myself have moved out. It is a great space to live and personally if there is a spot would love to move back. The best years of my life were spent here!
