In my opinion, this is the most honest and reliable workshop in Singapore, having an affordable servicing pricing and superb effort in doing his job. Out of so many workshop I went to, the boss, Mao Yang did a really great job, patiently diagnosing and repair your car, so you can drive off with a peace of mind. He take care of every smallest detail, even did a simple wipe on my engine bay after servicing. I have been going back his shop ever since my first servicing with him. If you are worrying about the cost, be assured that the effort he placed in repairing, will worth your every single penny. A really humble boss and lady boss.

Very competitively priced, the Boss is a very nice chap whom you can trust on; luckily he noticed that my car's wheel alignment is out and recommended me to have it aligned. Also recommended me for the various parts oil changes according to my vehicle mileage and did not hard sell anything. Highly recommended.

It was my 1st visit to Mao Yang workshop, I worked nearby. My car was having some problems so wanted to send it for consultation before I drop off from work. I found out about Mao Yang workshop from Google and read so many good reviews about the owner. After my personal encounter, Shen shifu indeed deserves all the good reviews, he is a total honest businessman. He is modest, polite and patience. He don't take advantages on me, instead he helps me save costs after knowing my car COE expires in Aug this year. Overall, my experience with Shen shifu and his team at Mao Yang is a pleasant and positive event.

By far the most trustworthy and reasonable family run business I've visited. I will not be going to another mechanic from now onwards. Cannot recommend more highly!

Went MY for roubleshooting. Boss was able determine the root cause within 10mins and solve the belt tensioning issue in 30mins. Decided to proceed with an oil servicing package for Liqui Moly package. Overall, their pricing was $20 cheaper than when I was servicing with Shell Helix Ultra. Definitely 2 thumbs up for them.

I am so grateful to Mr Shen and beyond thrilled to have (FINALLY) found an honest, reliable, diligent mechanic that I can trust. Our car seemingly had a battery fault on a Sunday, eve of a PH. We were scrambling to search for a mechanic and were told by several others that they only open a couple of days later. A quick search on Google and I found Mr Shen's workshop with great reviews. I reached out and received replies within minutes. They were open the next day (Labour Day observed) and we popped by for a visit. Within minutes he was able to diagnose the fault, present options; one to replace the faulty part with a brand new part, another to replace with a fixed part (not brand new). We went with the latter as advised, and he also pointed out that it's more economical and pretty much does the same job. We really appreciate his advice and honesty. We were worried about opening hours as my husband and I work full time. Usually, mechanics are only open during those hours. However, Mr Shen's workshop is open from early morning (7am I think) until 9pm. He even mentioned that if we can't pick up our car by 9pm, he's happy to wait for us. We don't deserve this husband and wife team :') (P/S we were ripped off a year ago by another workshop and chalked up a couple of thousands just through servicing. Mr Shen was really honest and charged us for what needed to be fixed. Our bill came up to be very reasonably priced.) 2 days later we picked up our car and everything's great again. We are so happy to have found Mao Yang and will not hesitate to recommend Mr Shen to all our friends and family.

Bring my own engine oil and filter for oil change. Charge me $20 for workmanship. Also change 4 tyres at a reasonable price.
