★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted a ramen fix and decided to try this branch at Bugis+. Been a while since I had Marutama and still remember it’s branch at Liang Court that I used to frequent. A bowl of ramen is alway comforting. It’s nice but still not as good as the Liang Court days. Not sure what is lost though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service provided was great. Kept refilling our glasses of water. However the food does not really match my taste i guess. Ordered the vegetable ramen which costs $14 and it kinda taste like something homemade. Broth was pretty rich and thick but it's not to my liking.

But the service at this outlet is not great… waitresses were in a rush to clear condiments when it was only 8+, asked for payment before serving food. Even for ordering an extra ice lemon tea she asked us to pay first (so we had to grab our bags to get our card). Walked away to get the drinks immediately after payment without saying a word. I was the one who said thanks to her instead ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the Zenbu Nosé Ramen. The broth is chicken based and it taste so rich and comforting for the stomach. The ramen noodles is springy and thin. And the topping features two delicious pork cuts, the usual cha shu that is soft and tender and the braised pork belly. And lastly, the shoyu egg is done well. It might be slightly pricy but for this quality, it is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this for lunch. The service was excellent. The only service staff I saw was superb, attentive and prompt. Offered to top up my ice water very frequently.
The ramen was good. Plenty of spring onions. The pork belly was super tender and fatty. Broth was good too.
Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great broth and flavour. The pork belly is not that good. But the pork slices were amazing. Would drop by again if theres no queue. Quite rare to see chicken broth for ramen. Very interesting concept that attracted me. Price was reasonable considering the location.
