β β β β β Did not have a good lunch experience here. Have always been a big fan of genki but had a bad experience.
1) Chawanmushi was probably the worst iβve ever tasted in my life - egg stock was bland, without any flavour, and had a very watery texture. We gave feedback and they served another plate, but it was exactly the same. Genki chawanmushi didnβt used to be like that.
2) Soft shell crab maki was missing - didnβt come even after 45 mins of waiting. Order was basically forgotten.
Overall disappointing experience compared to the other times i have eaten at genki.

β β β β β This was the third time i eaten at Genki and i can conclude that the food is decent at the price point.
The sashimi was quite decent and the portion sizes are generous compared to other japanese restaurants. The chirashi was nice and very affordable ($6).
The salmon miso soup wasnt good at all. The fish was not fresh and the meat was tough and overcooked. There were pieces of small bones too.
The crab croquette had very little crab (i mean really little) in it. It was mainly the creamy stuffing. The outer layer was nice and crispy though.
The chicken nanban wasnt that good too. The chicken was quite soggy and wasnt appealing.
The unagi was ok, on the saltier side but edible.

β β β β β Ordered via grab and items came fresh and good. Fries and soup were warm, sashimi was super good and sushi all met the standard. Ever ate at their outlet before and experience was mostly pleasant too. Would say this is one of the better outlet out of all genki stores.

β β β β β Affordable sushi restaurant with many varieties, good seating and service overall. The only thing I hope they can improve is to use better wasabi instead of the packaged one.

β β β β β This has to be the most filthy Genki outlet ever. Food stains and leftover food everywhere, the hit water dispenser has food stuck all around the tap, the conveyor tray has food n stains, the area all around the conveyor also so dirty. The cleanliness standard is like hawker center. Totally lost of appetite after sitting down. And they are serving raw food so one can imagine the hygiene standards inside the kitchen!! Management needs to go down and inspect this outlet properly.

Very convenient to order food and beverage, just scan the QR code by hand phone and then just order.
Easy and fast.
Environment is clean and comfortable.
Staff are kind and efficiently.
Overall not bad compared to other outlets. Only the cheese Michigan is a lil jelat .

β β β β β I think itβs a good place for some quick and easy Japanese food. However, the quality is definitely not top tier but itβs quite aligned to the prices. Tried a couple of stuff, hits and misses. You will need to know whatβs good here to enjoy your meal. Overall I would prefer to pay a little bit more as freshness and quality is everything for japanese food.
