β β β β β I am really happy that I found Math Mavens. My son has been there for the last four years and I can confidently say that his foundation is strong. He also has developed the ability to solve more-than-most difficult problem sums. It is amazing how the teachers have systematically and thoroughly imparted strong conceptual understanding and skills of Maths to my son. I like the fact that there is a variety of skills and topics taught weekly, keeping the rhythm of every lesson upbeat and lively. This really engages my easily bored son. He never wants to miss his lessons. And best of all he loves his teacher, Mr Wong, whom my son says is firm yet warm and humourous. I value very much Mr Wong's wide teaching repertoire and his invaluable MOE and school experiences. I feel assured that my son is well prepared for school and national exams, and that he is emotionally and psychologically well taken care of at Math Mavens. ??

β β β β β I started my daughter at maths mavens (MM) rather late (term 1, p5), when her maths results were bordering high 40% to 50% (nanyang primary). Sheβs been blessed to be taught by Mr Wong. By SA1, her results improved by 25%! I was very surprised, and happy to see my girlβs confidence grow. Her attitude towards other subjects improve as well. The teachers at Maths Mavens are very dedicated and encouraging. They genuinely care for the students, and when required, will spend extra time to coach the students. They are able to simplify concepts so that itβs easier for kids to remember; worksheets are well thought through after analyzing various schoolsβ exams and prelim papers. MM will even send weekly emails, parents briefing sessions to update parents as well. Truly professional! They are not βcheapβ, but for the quality of lessons and the results, it is very worthwhile. Both my kids attend MM now, highly recommended!

β β β β β The way Math Mavern teachers teach Math is really very good.
My boy is very phobia of Math. Whenever there is Math examination, he is like a lost sheep, very scared and worried about the examination.
Under Math Mavern teacher's guidance, he become a changed boy.Β He is confident of Math now and is willingly to practise Math questions. He will revise Math first during examination time.

β β β β β Math Mavens has been excellent for upper primary Maths. I struggled to help my son with Maths until p5 then gave up and sent him to Math Mavens. No regrets and Iβm really Glad I did. Mr Wong is an excellent teacher who is patient and able to explain the problems to his students, my son always looks forward to his lessons. I will probably send my younger one to MM too soon!

β β β β β My younger son has been at Math Mavens since middle of P4, and its been a very positive experience. Math Mavens lessons are rigorous and stretch the students, and these are reinforced by weekly worksheets that the students have to complete and turn in before the start of the next lesson. My son was initially taught by Ms Patricia Eng, and later by Mr Wong Tuck Weng - both of them were experienced, committed and caring. Mr Wong had extremely quick turnaround for homeworks - often marking it within 30 minutes of us sending in the scan, and he would also quickly respond to messages asking about particular tricky questions. Math Mavens pivoted very quickly and adapted to Pandemic lockdown conditions seamlessly.

β β β β β I highly recommend Math Mavens, my daughter was taught by Mr Wong and she thoroughly enjoyed attending tuition! Mr Wong was very caring and responsive, always checking up on my daughterβs progress at school and even reminding us to send back homework corrections for his review. Heβs always available to help my daughter even with her schoolwork and would reply to WhatsApp messages late at night. His lessons were interesting and thorough, and Math Mavens taught her various modelling approaches to tackle all sorts of questions. After 2 years under Mr Wongβs guidance, my daughter scored AL1 for all her P6 Math exams. I also appreciated Math Mavens fast response to changes in the COVID-19 situation. They switched quickly to online classes, mailed us worksheets and kept parents updated regularly on changes. This ensured that my daughterβs learning wasnβt disrupted. If only they offered secondary school tuition classes as well!

β β β β β My two children, one in P6 and one in P4 have been with Math Mavens since the start of their Primary education. Itβs the only school that I can trust fully without having to worry if my kids are benefiting from the lessons. Math Mavens has helped my kids built a strong foundation in Math. The teaching methods are great, effective and easy to remember. Concepts are always reinforced weekly with well crafted papers. Principal, Mr Teo who taught my daughter for 2 years for Primary 5 & 6 and all the teachers who had taught my kids over the years are passionate teachers who care. Mr Teo, as quoted by my P6 daughter, is the best Math teacher ever!

β β β β β Mr Wong is a very dedicated teacher - he is able to break down complex concepts. He helped to identify the weak areas of my child and he is very encouraging. The math mavens curriculum has good depth and breadth. The school was very nimble in adjusting to all the covid measures. The school would also reschedule their classes to fit the exam dates of the students to ensure that they are prepped well before the exams.
