Meating place lives up to its name with a good raw meats prepared into even yummier eats - I went with the humble steak frites, memorable enough to return. Side dishes are also worthwhile - give the brussel sprouts a try.

Nice find! Fell in love with the bread n magic butter, tabao one order home for breakfast. Mind bending dishes that look and taste different from what you'd expect it to be. Cauliflower looking like fried chicken, rabbit look and tasted like stewed chicken, pork that looked like beef and beef that looked like charsiew ? Good recommendations by Chester. Deep fried cauliflower look and tasted like korean fried chicken, except the inner filing. Crispy crusty batter that wasn't oily. Lots of back and forth on whether to order the stewed rabbit or not. Missing the one I had in Paris but worried this order might have a strong gamey scent. Not only was it tender and falling off the bone but it was also flavourful and rich, uncle roger would approve. Noted that they should have served the rabbit after this as it tasted more bland after all that strong seasoning. Iberico tournedos rossini. Fresh cordyceps covering a well seared foie gras on top of tender pork steak cuts. My only gripe with this dish was that the pork had a strong scent, kind of disappointing as I would have loved this otherwise. Wagyu boneless short rib. Beautifully rendered with a caramelized char. Fully cooked but very tender. I loved that you could eat it korean bbq grill style, wrapped in romaine and topped with onion dressing. However, I felt it could do with either a more tart onion dressing or to serve this dish with a side sauce/dressing.

The octopus and halibut were amazing, we enjoyed them very much! Brussels sprouts was a bit too sweet, steak was okay. Service was great, staff very attentive!

First time here and it was a great experience overall! Food was mostly yummy and I will be back! ? Pictured: - Crispy Cauliflower ?? - Octopus ?? - Black Angus ?? - Brussels Sprout (we ordered this but the waiter said that it’s sold out and recommended an off-menu Romanesco; thought it was average) - Mashed potato (compliments of the chef) ?? - Catena Malbec ?? - Cheese Cake (wasn’t a fan as I thought the mix of flavours was weird ☹️) - Panna Cotta ??

Second time coming to this restaurant. Their service and food never fails! For first timer, tasting menu is a must have to get a feel of the food they serve. But tried more of their main dishes second time there and the halibut is to die for. LOVE the choc tart and cheese cake too! Service is superb as always with great wine recommendations. By far one of my top favourite restaurants to go to in Singapore

Gotta try the wagyu ribeye and the pork butter steak. The staff is very friendly and gave good recommendations on food and wine pairing. It’s very cozy and casual setup with no fancy dress code. Good place to wine and dine with friends.

The tomato stracciatella and yuzu Brussels sprouts impressed us - delish! More so than our main, the 300gm NZ dry-aged Ribeye - then again we are not used to dry-aged. It was less marbled than expected, and we prefer a touch more sear and salt. Also ordered the hasselback potatoes and foie gras MJK. Good accompaniments, but the former was left unfinished and the latter, finished too fast! As dessert we chose the chocolate tart - it was average I guess, the tart base reminded me of Pineapple tart pastry - by then we were full but felt it was missing some ice cream or something to go with. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Service was good too. But value-wise, for $200 plus for two without drinks, it will be a while before we return.
