β β β β β Very Japanese. Very clean. Very expensive prices. But you get the best service, merchandising and service ethos.
Try not to go during weekends if you want to browse at will. The place was overrun by toddlers running wild pushing unladden carts. Parents are gawking (not buying) with grandparents in tow.
Perhaps give it a month or so for the novelty to wear out.

β β β β β A lovely sake-centric shop that also has some hard liquor (including nikka Coffey gin and nikka vodka) and wine (including some Burgundy's). Prices are not too friendly but this reminds me of a Japanese liquor shop (as in, how a liquor shop is run in Japan). Courteous staff!

β β β β β Great place to purchase sake. They have other alcohol there too. They sell beautiful cups for your drink and they have staff willing to assist. Bought 4 small bottle of sake & 1 bottle of yuzu drink.
