To say that Joseph and his team from Memorial Funeral Specialist are professional is an understatement. They are simply top notched in their services. Joseph is very patient and helpful. While we were mostly blur and not sure what to do initially, he came over late in the night and advised us on the various packages without insisting that we took the most expensive ones. He listened and understood our needs before recommending a suitable package to us. Throughout the wake; he also came down regularly to see if there is anything we could help, and he is always contactable by phone. We were very glad and fortunate with his and his company’s services.

We have made the correct choice in choosing Memorial Funeral services to handle my mother’s wake. Their staff come across as very caring, empathetic and experienced. Everything went smoothly without a hitch and this had taken a load from us while we are grieving. In particular I want to single out Terence and Jovan for special mention as they have helped us a lot . Fees wise Memorial services’ is very competitive but the quality of services rendered is not below that of the higher priced providers .

Did not contacted Joseph directly but was recommended by the joss paper shop for his services for the passing of my father in law. Joseph has been attentive to all details of the funeral planning. We were quite lost as things happened too suddenly but was glad Joseph and his team have been around and assisted us in a possible ways from day 1 to last day. Appreciated his advices and constant reminders so that our family would remembered small details ! Thank you Joseph and Memorial Specialist Team for this comfortable journey for my father in law and rendered the kindness for us.

I was not prompted by the company to provide this review, but the overall satisfaction by my family on their services motivated me to share my views here so that more ppl may know the overall great service and logistical excellence they have. I called the general line in the morning, and the funeral services director Joseph came over to discuss and go through the arrangements within the next hour or so. Very prompt. Us being clueless about all these, he explained the various procedures very clearly for us and then let us decide on the approach and package we want, without being pushy about the various add-ons. The set up was done quite promptly and quite presentable overall, with skirtings for all tables and chairs. We provided a rather low resolution soft copy portrait photo of the deceased and they were able to beautify it to look really good. They made sure to cover all bases so that we don't have to worry about logistical matters and could focus on going through the wake. Things like flower water basin, extension cord to provide power sockets, properly chained and locked safebox for baijin, nice portable toilet, various misc items like tissue, toilet paper, drinks on consignment basis, and monks who chanted and provided the daily offerings/meals for the deceased, etc. The staff wore formal shirt and long pants, looking very professional and presentable. On the last day, they even don on vests to look even more professional, while bearing the discomfort. All these show how they pay attention to detail to make everything look presentable. Joseph was also meticulous, going through the various procedures with us in detail, and reminding us about upcoming ones so that we are prepared. After the wake was over and all the payments settled, he still made it a point to check back with us to remind us about the subsequent procedures that we should do. If anyone is skeptical and thinks I'm affiliated to them, I assure u I'm not, and I'm purely coming from the angle to help add on the positive reviews so that more ppl can consider engaging them for their services. Though hopefully they don't raise their prices too much if they get very famous next time =P

My family chose the 3-day Buddhist package ($4880) plus Inland ash scattering at Garden of Peace. Throughout the journey, MFS offered clear guidance and clarified our misunderstanding honestly and clearly. We wanted a basic package which still provided respect and dignity to my loss of our beloved father. MFS also helped us in other additional requests like burning of offerings, with additional costs. A pleasant experience and smooth delivery. Ash collection service was provided and we did not need to go to collect personally. Thank you.
