Burnt food!! Could smell burnt beef but the cook insisted he had intentionally given the beef a "little char". Got to my table, flip the beef over and it's burnt.

Wow. Alot better than typical kopitiam japanese. Lean pork meat cover the whole bowel. Didn't flood the rice with sweet sauce too.

Very generous portion of salmon. The sauce was just nice, didn't overpower the salmon. Best mentaiko salmon Don for the price for me.

Japanese food here is nice, personally I have tried the Chicken Katsu Curry Tamago Don & Potato croquettes and both exceeded my expectations. Better than typical Food court Japanese food.

For a coffeeshop japanese food stall, I should say it's rather reasonable priced and food is okay. I tried the Signature Mentaiko Salmon Don, personally I feel the serving is ok only thing is that the Mentaiko mayo sauce tasted more like mayo without the umami of the Mentaiko. The staff is also quite friendly.

Wide range of different kinds of Don and udon, therefore it peaks my excitement wanting to try them all. Settled for the Beef Mentai Don which comes with miso soup. The portion is generous with beef slices and lots of rice, which I could not finish. The beef was tender and soft, not chewy or dry at all! However, I do wish for the Mentai sauce to be more abundant since the mentai taste was quite mellow, and can be seen the sauce was quite spread out. Everything was well paired together with the sweet sauce and pickle. It was a good meal! Also, ordered the potato croquette as a side. It was well fried, no greasy taste with ample filling. Do note you can order it specific to the number of pieces and not the whole set (6pcs). Overall, definitely coming back to try other dons. The cheese don intrigues me.

Pricing seems fair but the ratio of rice to 料 needs to be improved. You get a lot of rice and not much 料 so I would recommend that you add some 料 of your choice, which would bring the price up of course

OK I feel this place is not fairly rated by the reviewers. I think, for the location, the price and the taste - the food is pretty decent. The portions are pretty good and the extras on top (like the egg or the Ebi fry) was ok. The service is typical hawker food - so if anyone says the service is not up to standard then they maybe should go to a resto? I live close-by and this is my go-to place for comfortable, reliable and tasty food which I can eat quite reasonably and quickly go back to WFH. Their Salmon mentaiko is pretty good; not spectacular but for the location and price its decent. I will definitely come back again.
