They are known for their truffle wanton noodle, but I still decided to stick with the original one. There was already a small queue when I was there. Their basic wanton noodles start from SGD$3.50, comes with 4 wantons; 2 normal and 2 fried. Their Charsiew also seems to be different in terms of colour, its darker in colour as compared to one you usually find outside. The noodle was alright, nothing special to shout about. Overall, it’s not bad but nothing special to me. Their staff could be more friendly and approachable.

Checked out this place. The truffle noodles is acquired taste. Either u like it or hate it. Noodles are dry tho. The plain one with a bit of chilli is more popular. But the char Siew is good. May try out their 红油抄手the next round.

I ate here before but didnot notice the truffle wanton noodle, today I first tried the Truffles Wanton Noodle. It was great experience, never before has wanton noodle with truffle oil. It such a delicious and unique taste. I love it !! Although the price is a little on the high side for a neighbourhood coffeeshop, but it definitely worth it. The noodle is well blended with truffle oil. We know truffle oil is expansive. I must say i need to thanks the owner to bring such a delicious creation to neighbourhood. I heard the stall has two more outlets in Singapore. The normal wanton mee also good. The stall has very nice char siew (roast pork meat)

Noodles: springy n qq type. Char siew: next door roasted meat has better char siew. Taste: slightly sour spicy kind of chilli. Is really depends on what style of wanton mee u like. This aint my style where charsiew is cut n prepared already.

I would describe this as old school wanton noodles although they have the truffle oil noodles - tried it one time - it was ok but in my opinion, not really worth the extra you pay for a few squirts of the truffle oil. Noodles are firm & i generally like the char siew - was told it was nothing special but i generally like it. Prices are not the cheapest around but they serve a decent plate of old school wanton noodles.

We came to try Truffle noodle for its novelty but it quickly dies off after the first bite. We visited after a couple of recommendations about its unique truffle wanton noodle. We ordered a normal wanton noodle and one with Truffle The truffle wanton noodle was more expensive and had bigger portions of meat n vegetables. Both noodles were done the same but the Truffle noodles had a few sprays of Truffle oil from a very old, unhygienic looking bottle We could smell the Truffle before we dig in, after the first bite the Truffle wasn't really strong. We had noodles without chilli so the noodles were bland in absence of chilli and truffle. The normal wanton noodle was pretty average as well. There are better ones around.

I think the food here is just normal. Not great, not bad but just normal. The truffle thing is a novelty but it's just a spray of oil. Uncle was gruff and a bit unfriendly. I don't mind dining at unfriendly places if the food is good, but unfortunately there are other nice things in this coffeeshop that makes me prefer to patronize the other stalls. Give it a go once if you're craving truffle oil with your noodles, else give it a pass
