not expensive.. and not long waiting time.. but closing early

Generous portion and well prepared chicken cutlet. Totally unexpected for a small stall tucked away in a small coffeeshop. Great value for money. (attached photo: serving was so big that I'm almost full yet there's still abit more to go)

First time eating here but had to tapau cos of latest COVID-19 lockdown. Had the fish and chips which was recommended and was not disappointed. The portion was large and the batter was crispy but not too oily or overpowering the fish. The fish was fresh and yummy. For just $6.90 one of the best fish and chips I’ve had at a coffeeshop. Will come back again to try the other dishes.

kinda overrated! nothing special in this stall. travelled all the way from the west out of curiosity on the fantastic reviews just to get a little disappointed. the mushroom is tasteless altho the consistency is good. the pasta, chicken chop, chicken burger, fries are very normal, acceptable but I cant believe that the reviews described 'em as a very fantastic, 5-star restaurant quality. its nothing like that. I tried so many western stalls situated inside a kopitiam and this is no different from everywhere. its not that cheap too, normal kopitiam price and normal kopitiam taste. probably not gonna travel a mile again to purposely go there, and will not really recommend to friends too.. the two staffs from v.... seemed to have no heart in cooking and preparing the dishes, just getting the job done. they are not that helpful too, and have some communication barrier. as I said, they just want to get the job done..

I’ve been eating here since it opened and pasta has generally been really good. But don’t know what happened recently. Store is closed rather frequently and the standard has noticeable deproved..in fact I’ve tried the pasta at the new branch at Serangoon 204 and it’s much better. Please come back J. Miss the good pasta

Reviews for this place tend to be generally extreme. Worth trying if you’re around the area and looking for a heavy meal, however would not recommend you making a trip down just to try it as taste is decent/normal. Given the prices and its large servings, this place is definitely value for money. No complains except for the many smokers and drinkers in the coffee shop.

We had the Devil's Chicken Chop and the Aglio Olio with Grilled Fish. Portions were generous and value for money. The Devil's Chicken Chop came with two wickedly spicy sauces. A must-try for spice lovers. I loved how the pasta was not overly soft or soggy. I'd be interested to try one of the pasta mains in future.

Food 4/5 Price 4/5 Service 3/5 Overall 4/5 Fish and chips is fairly nice. The fish was fried till golden brown, crispy on the outside yet tender and soft on the inside. Shoestring fries with crispy. Garlic bread was tasty. Cost $7.50 for a plate of fish and chips. Pretty affordable as this coffee shop is within the neighborhood. Average service, staff were fairly friendly and polite. Self-service applied at this foot establishment, you have to collect your own food after the buzzering rings. Will return to have other Western males here, but it is slightly out of the way from the main road.
