Found this place through instagram: @mezame.eatanddrink Went over few times for the lunch set & A la Carte dinner.. wine & food selections were great! Love the cozy ambiance & song playlist. Staff is very friendly too! =) the place easily fully booked, must make sure to do reservation online in advance.

It’s an unpretentious and cozy place with only 8 seat for each sitting. Worth a visit if you’re curious about natural wines. Service was so so. Didn’t receive much hospitality. Chef used to work at the Michelin 3-star restaurant Les Amis. They used the Le Creuset to cook their signature braised pork, which is worth a try. Hokkaido milk ice cream with olive oil and snow salt is tasty too. However, the wines we had were not splendid although somewhat special. And I’m really not a fan of fortified wines. Natural Wines we tried : 1. Noëlla Morantin Stella Maris 2019 (white) 2. Domaine Mâmârutà – Fitou 2019 ‘Coupe Soif’ (red) 3. Domaine de Saoubis – Vin de Liqueur NV ‘Bisou’ (fortified) 4. Bernard Marty – Carthagène (fortified)

A perfect place to enjoy natural wines with delicious food. We had the wine pairing and were very impressed by the selection. Each glass of wine was perfectly going well with the corresponding dish. The signature Lu rou fan and Hokkaido milk ice cream are excellent!

My 2nd time here for the 4awesome menu. Still loving it - good is consistently great, the signature lu rou fan is the crowd pleasure even for those who don't usually eat pork/ rice. The wine pairing is fantastic and love that they explain each dish and each bottle of wine that you taste. The ambience is definitely a reason for coming back, nice cosy environment where they only serve up to 8 pax (I think?). Nothing to complain about, will be back for sure.

came here to celebrate a birthday and so glad we picked this spot. the experience was 10/10, service was thoughtful and personal, the food was impressive without being pretentious, portions were good and the wine pairing was amazing. amazing given it was just a two man show (Dannon and Manfred) the whole time. also, prices aren’t prohibitive. would return!!

4.5 stars! Mezame indeed!! Haven’t had the best experience with natural wines but thanks to Dannon, the somm+++, we had *two* bottles that I actually enjoyed! Wine aside, Chef Manfred whipped up quite the meal as we tried just about everything on its menu. There was a sense of nostalgia with a couple of dishes as Chef Manfred told the story of his refined creation of the braised pork belly rice (aka 卤肉饭) and pickles. The desserts were delish and we got very lucky cuz Chef Manfred baked some lovely financiers to pair with this amazing vanilla ice cream that was just heavenly! The dining experience was very lovely. Not to mention, Chef Manfred was also so generous to share some of the kitchen/cooking tips and what not with us. One PSA - Mezame! will be moving to a bigger space (to the now defunct “Fish & Co Glasshouse”) later this year. Though I’m stoked for the dynamic duo, it’s bittersweet as I’ll definitely miss this intimate dining experience with both Dannon and Chef Manfred!

Now this is a wine bar! Great selection of interesting wines, and a great team behind the concept. Food is impressive, especially the otah, lu rou fan and uni croquettes. Expected damage ~150 pp for a good meal.
