A little "not-a-farewell" lunch for 2 colleagues who will be leaving soon. Both wanted their departure to be low key, so we picked this quiet outlet in the National Design Centre. We arrived at 1230pm. The place was quiet and cool, unlike the usual bustling outlets in CBD. Perfect place for a quiet conversation! We ordered 2 chirashi NDC bowls, 1 impossible lunch bowl (with "pork cutlet") and 1 edamame. I swapped the rice of my Impossible bowl to a salad for a lighter lunch. The 2 colleagues were both delighted with their Chirashi. They found the portions to be generous and ingredients fresh. However the impossible pork cutlet was disappointing. Nothing close to meat, more like a potato pancake or a hashbrown. I think they might had "minced" the impossible meat...voiding its meat texture. Yes, will return to that outlet for its lunch ambience. No, will not be 'impossible" again....

Nice place for meal. We ordered the Truffle Yakiniku Donburi, Soboro Beef Don, Sashimi Platter and Truffle Winter Roll. They were tasty. The Sashimi was fresh and of good cut size. The sauce in the Donburi was also just right for the rice portion. Will definitely return for more meals in this restaurant!

Hiding inside the National Design Center, the entrance is almost invisible. Inside is neat and cool, seating is well spread out. Food and drinks are good. And ideal place to hang out with friends.

Food was ok. I like how the donburi options have mixed selections of tempura and sashimi. There was an auntie who was serving us. Her friendliness and thoughtfulness were stellar! Made the dining experience even feel homely.

A great spacious place to hang out with friends! Came here right after our class nearby, for their Happy Hour! Only disappointment was that their happy hour menu is different from Orchard Central Tanuki Raw. Nevertheless I’m happy they have the oysters deal.

Place was quiet and empty on a weekday night, staff was friendly and helpful. Menu differs from the outlet at Somerset. Cheess sticks tasted awesome. Yakiniku don tastes pretty good. Oysters were much much too fat and takes several mouthful to even finish 1. Makes it hard to eat. Wham Fries and Impossible Pork Don were both mediocre.

Been here a couple of times, very consistent and nice place to hang out for a meal. We went for afternoon tea break and thought that the coffee is surprisingly good. Friends shared that the oysters are delicious. Many artsy people around.

Celebrated a birthday here. Menu is slightly different from the OC branch. Like the ambience and branch has a bigger seating area which is less crammed. Always love the happy hours promo for the oysters. Food delicious although the desserts need improvement in variety and taste.
