Mia Tavola - B1

Had the opportunity to try their Pistachio tiramisu and I LOVED it! It was fragrant, luscious and packed of flavours. Sweetness level was just right and I could taste the Grand Marnier Liqueur. Will definitely be trying more from their menu. :-) Thank you Mia Tavola!

Ordered their bundle for 2 and it was delivered promptly during the delivery time. Both the lasagna and Tiramisu tasted great and I'm looking to ordering again and trying out other food soon!

Hi, thanks for delivering the tiramisu. My family loved it very much. I must say the matcha is quite nice and delicious. Fresh ingredients which make a light and soft tiramisu cake. Will try the other dishes from your restaurant next. Have forwarded the menu & website to some of my friends

It started with a friend getting the Tiramisu for a birthday celebration. The taste lingered and the thought of getting more, stayed in the brain. Finally, decided to get some of the original and other flavors for the family. Family loved the taste too! Saved some for my friends at work and they too loved the taste. Getting more to share with other friends soon!

I have to agree with Faith Lim's post from a week ago that the tiramisu is a total disappointment. The images on Insta of the tiramisu trays with lashings of mascarpone are completely misleading and you can barely taste the liquor in the sponge layer. The lasagne is a small portion although it's supposed to be for 2. Very underwhelming in flavour and quantity of filling as well. Nowhere close to being worth the price. Don't bother.

Very significant drop in the standard of tiramisu. Have been ordering since Aug 2020 and received the worst ever. Lack of cream (as you can see from the photo) and not much whiskey taste even I added $8 for it. Super disappointing... :(

Honestly, I never heard of Mia Tavola until IG flashed out a group delivery in my precinct. I was watching a movie which reminded me of my best-ever home-cooked Christmas dinner with an Italian family. This catalyst me to reach out to the restaurant on IG. I did a quick check on google reviews (overall, mixed but above average) and was undecided. I give the restaurant top marks for social media advertising and follow-ups. If they have not followed up, I'd given it a pass (this is because there is an excellent Italian restaurant right outside my house). well, I gave their pistachio tiramisu a try because i am a fan of pistachio. There are delightful bits of citrus peels in the tiramisu. The cream was light and not too sweet. It's a pistachio tiramisu professionally executed. The small size (weighs 460 grams) could serve 4 pax - about the same pricing you'd pay in a higher end Italian restaurant with service. Finally, in this pandemic, i am very impressed with how the restaurant (a small business) is taking proactive steps to market themselves. Organising their deliveries by precincts (for higher efficiency) and with proactively follow-ups. Fighting!

Quite disappointing despite the reviews. The lady finger in the pistachio tiramisu was really dry, thought it would be soaked in alcohol but no. There was barely any alcohol taste. There were also dried orange pieces which tasted weird in the tiramisu. The pistachio taste in the cream layer was was strong enough to taste it on its own but if eaten together was really mild.
