Best wanton mee in AMK and possibly the country!

Quality noodles at reasonable price. $4 for a portion of wonton mee. I have bought their noodles mutliples times, every time is a satisfying meal. Good!

New noodles stall at Block 505 coffeeshop and we tried a variety of dishes. The egg noodles are quite special and kinda like “ramen”. We loved it! The mushrooms were delicious and the dumplings were ingredients packed! The oyster sauce vegetables was also a great accompaniment! They have the regular egg noddles and interesting varieties like spinach noodles and tomato noodles.

The shop started in this location after the whole place got renovated. The most important aspect of a good bowl of Wanton noodle for me is the noodle, sauce, wanton and char siew (barbecue pork) in that order. First thing first, the thickness of the noodle is very good. It is between the typically Hong Kong type and our local type. It is cooked to perfection by the uncle. He does not add tomato or Chilli sauce, just his homemade sauce. Very nice. Wanton is also very tasty and the fillings is generous. Char Siew is cook by the uncle, not the typical kind where they just "dye" the pork red. It is very good and goes very well with the rest of the ingredients. I order chicken feet to go with my noodles. It is again outstanding, the skin of the chicken feet is soft enough to enjoy the texture without falling off the bone when you pickup the feet. The dish also comes with a generous serving of 小白菜 and top off with fried shallots oil. As you can tell from the details, I highly recommend this place for wanton mee lover!!!
