โ โ โ โ โ Acceptable claypot rice and ่้ชจ่ถใgenerous portion but lacking a little more umph. Clay pot rice would be more fragrant if there is more salted fish or a little more Chinese sausage. One of the more reasonable price claypot rice. Pork Rib soup is soth but a bit on the tougher side and soup base is not as peppery compared to some other brand

โ โ โ โ โ Paid $15 for 2 persons dinner. The rice was ok with some flavour. Initially, it was moist but towards the end, it was dry and hard. The chicken and Chinese sausage or lup cheong were ok. Couldn't find any vegetables in the pot. Yes, a few of the spoons were not thoroughly cleaned. Service was ok as you can order your food, pay and sit down at your table to wait for them to send the food over.

โ โ โ โ โ Bowls, plates, cutlery and utensils are quite dirty, I washed all of them at nearby sink with soap. The claypot rice taste is so so, the $10 portion is quite small for 2 people. I found large portion of overcooked rice and sausages till charcoal black color, maybe because they used strong fire to shorten the cooking time.
For those who like to eat claypot rice, I would suggest Lian He Ben Ji claypot rice at Chinatown Complex.

โ โ โ โ โ I particularly enjoyed sharing this dish with friends over a good chat. Do add more black sauce if you prefer it to be more flavorful. The chicken were fresh and it went well with the chili. The salted fish used are of better quality. The rice portion might be lesser than you assumed as most it would be stuck to the claypot as burnt rice. Scrap out and indulge in some of the burnt rice and thatโs the way to enjoy traditional claypot rice.

โ โ โ โ โ One of my go to places for Claypot Rice. It doesnโt look great when served but mix it all up and itโs fragrant aroma of burnt rice and salted fish is just appetizing! It also serves other dishes that will go along with their star dish like vegetables and mixed pork soup.

40 years of experience cooking this. In my impression, claypot rice usually quite dry so overall it is nicely done. The salted fish, the lup cheong and the chicken is well proportion. Chicken is really fresh and tender to eat. Not suitable for young children because there is chicken with bone. Hope the stall owner can come out with a child friendly version chicken claypot rice? Boneless chicken claypot rice? Will order again.

โ โ โ โ โ Pretty good bowl of claypot rice. The Chinese sausage was really good. Would have liked my rice with more burnt. Chicken was kinda tough to eat, had either bones or cartilage in each piece and the chicken wasn't very tender.
