★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good mixed pork prawns 猪杂面汤)noodles. The broth a bit sweet to me. Overall is good.
Understand they have another outlet in middle road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially wanted to try a stall nearby selling braised duck but it was super packed. Suddenly I remembered that there a stall nearby that sells prawn noodle therefore made a short detour over under the pouring rain to the coffeeshop which is walking distance from City square shopping centre.
There is also a very popular zhichar within the same coffeeshop. They do not served dry prawn noodle here and prices starts from SGD$4 onwards.
I had the the combination of yellow noodle with vermicelli, you can choose to have a mixed of prawn and pork ribs or either that. they also offer ingredient like livers and pig skin. Soup isn't your typical prawn noodle broth which is very rich with prawn flavor. The soup has a stronger pork rib taste. The soup remains pipping hot even after a few minutes. Prawns were relatively small but fresh, ribs were cooked long enough till the meat fall off easily from the bone.
Overall, I feel that it was an above average bowl of prawn noodle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle taking orders is very kind and friendly. Soup base is good. Overall, simple, tasty and cheap meal to have. Might finish selling earlier than their closing time as they run out of ingredients for the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many people rave about this prawn noodles but I beg to differ. I find that the soup is tainted by the " kee " from yellow noodles which have been blanched in the stock even when I ordered kuay teow.
The stock was not umami , lacking in the full bodied prawn / pork flavor found in better prawn noodle places.
As for the innards, I am not squeamish but they were tough and overcooked.
The prawns were nor just tiny but halved , they shrank even more. And no longer juicy as they were just as overcooked as everything else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been eating at this stall since my parents were dating, and I’m 30 this year. Grew up eating here.
Good for weekend family brunch in a typical hawker / coffee shop setting.
Not your typical sweet / dry prawn pork rib noodles that you get at Adam road. This broth is towards the savoury side, more pork than prawn flavours. But very good nevertheless. Don’t get expectations up because the stall isn’t known for prawn, but known more for the porks.
Pork liver, pork heart, pork ribs, all done very well.
10/10 would recommend.
