Mike Chen Photography - Singapore Wedding Photographer - #07-32

We engaged Mike as our wedding photographer in Dec 2021. He has been nothing but incredible! Mike's fun personality makes us feel at ease the whole time. We needed someone who enjoys what he's doing - taking unique and timeless photos! Thank you Mike for doing such a wonderful job at our wedding. He sure has a talent for capturing all our special 'moments' which is exactly what we wanted. THANK YOU!!!

If I can sum it up in one statement regarding Mike as a wedding photographer, I can only say that both my wife and I are super glad that we chose the right wedding photographer for us. Mike is an extremely talented photographer. From the start when we engaged him for our actual day wedding, he has been very helpful and prompt in this replies. He even helped to suggest our photoshoot location on the day itself. His photos are simply amazing, artistic and he managed to capture the precious moments of our family members which are very dear to us. Besides the photos, it was very comfortable interacting with him during the wedding day. He is very skilled and experienced in guiding us on how to stand and pose, and lightened the entire mood of the photoshoot so that all of us, including our brothers and sisters can enjoy the process. From what I remember, the laughers during the day itself seems to be endless and really, kudos to him for this. The sneak peaks that he shown to us blew our mind off. The lighting, composition and angles are just amazing! To people who are looking out for a wedding photographer, need not look around. Mike is definitely your best choice out there. We were attracted to Mike’s sense of humor in his rate card and his passion to capture emotions which was particularly important to us for our wedding day. Even though my mom was not here anymore, he managed to encapsulate the presence of her in his photos and we absolutely appreciate and love that. His quick to action and supportive personality was greatly valued especially on the chaotic wedding day. I love how he would request nonsense silly stuff to make us laugh when capturing our moments. When we received our photos, we were completely blown away by the quality of it. We were saying that we wished that we had more time to take note of all the minute details that we had arranged for our wedding, like the flowers / fairy lights…but Mike was one step ahead of us. He captured every single detail and memory for us so that we could always look back on it. He’s a great guy, and overall a truly an amazing photographer. Put your 100% faith in this guy, he will not disappoint.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to engage Mike as our photographer! We received our photos approx. 2 weeks (super prompt!) after our wedding and were extremely pleased to see how our pictures turned out. We catered close to an hour on our actual day for a mini couple photoshoot and we loved every single picture that came out of it. Mike made us really comfortable and directed us along the way for poses. We also received many compliments from family & friends when they saw our photos. I bet everyone would agree almost every item on a wedding spend bucket is luxurious. Choosing Mike as our professional photographer for our wedding day was the most well worth spend we had on the entire wedding! Photo taking is never our thing, but smiling to Mike's camera has been a breeze with Mike's humorous cues. Our best beautiful moments were captured naturally by Mike's professional takes. The moment I saw Mike's website and portfolio, I knew instantly it's the style of photography that we wanted for our ROM/wedding day - natural light, effortless, authentic and joyful. The photos he took of couples were simple but felt very real - there were no big dramatic poses, heavy filters or color saturation. We wanted someone who can capture the moment as it is, as we are, and just make the session a fun and memorable one. Mike truly delivered - he was an expert on the location and in engaging us the whole time so that we were cheerful, laughing and just enjoying the moment. He has an eye/vision for different poses and it all ended up looking natural and not forced. Our session just felt like a delightful walk around the park, as he skillfully captured our different expressions and interactions throughout. James and I have looked through the portfolios of various wedding photographers and decided to engage Mike as our wedding photographer. He has always been responsive and a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional and we felt very assured with him around throughout the wedding. The photoshoot locations suggested by Mike were perfect and the photos he has taken on-site were wonderful. James and I are not models and were certainly not good with poses, but Mike guided us through every step of the way and ensured the various postures and poses would turn out well. Although he was professional in his work, his sense of humor helped to further lighten the mood and our smiles and laughter were natural. Weather conditions during our big day were rather unpredictable, however, Mike was able to take fabulous pictures of us. We were also pleasantly surprised when we received the pictures two days after the wedding. We had a memorable experience working with Mike and we were grateful to have engaged him as our wedding day photographer. Thank you once again Mike!
