Ming's Roasted Delight - 110 Pasir Ris Central

Nice food with good reasonable price! Thumbs up!

Duck was alright but owner of shop attitude was horrendous. Ordered a full duck on grab for self pick up, came to the shop and it wasn’t ready (I was fine with waiting) but he continuously served customers in line and wasn’t preparing the duck. Had to approach him before he started doing it (again was fine with waiting). However, when collecting the packets, he told me off saying in Chinese “你这时间买鸭，我不用做工了” (translation: “you come this timing buy duck I don’t need do business already) It’s one thing to grumble at other customers about other customers but to grumble at the customer buying it from you (at a 30+% mark up rate on grab (55 on grab vs 38 if you go down and buy) which I’m okay with) is plainly stupid. Hire someone if you cannot handle the business alone, or don’t do delivery food services. End of the day, I’m a customer paying for food, giving your business and yet I’m treated in such a manner. I didn’t even make a fuss about the waiting time. TLDR: Store could not handle delivery and walk in customers due to poor time management, shown bad attitude with uncalled for remarks.

Char Siew was tender but on the sweet side. Still, fantastic for its price at 3$ and would come back for more.

A neighbour told us about this stall so we decided go give it a try. Overall, it was nothing special and slightly on the pricey side. The soup was nice, but the rice was just okay. The char siu was overly sweet but had nice charring. The siobak was okay, but the crispiness could have been better. The braised egg was okay.

Probably one of the best roast meat stall in Pasir Ris. The soy sauce chicken is flavourful and has a smooth juicy bite. The sio yoke skin is delightfully crispy and the meat is soft. The char siew has a nice sweet burnt (charred) taste that brings joy with every bite. And the chilli… sharp, spicy hot and just simply gorgeous. Blessed to have them in my hood.
