We have not been to Lau Pa Sat for years and happened to be there for some seafoods. We ordered salted eggs yolk crab - juicy not dry, butter calamari - sweet and delicious , LaLa clams and baby Kaylan - nice and crunchy. We liked all of them.

Please avoid this place if you don’t want to spoil your evening with friends and family. Ordered chicken wing, ordering number 16 and standing there waited for 50 minutes; no one bother to ask and checked with the seller, she kept my plate pending for cooking till I asked. Another client came to pick up food and his ordering number was already 27. Her behavior is unacceptable; she didn’t even feel sorry about mess up the order. Totally ignore my inquiry twice. Once they got your money, they don’t care about deliver the food to you.

One of the worst oyster egg and white mee hoon I ever tasted. The lady who promoted also very rude and pushy. Will never visit this store again. The white mee hoon is tasteless, the oyster egg omelette (oyster seems like not fresh). I strongly recommend this store, DO NOT VISIT!

This review is purely for their sambal sting ray Had visited here to satisfy my sambal sting ray craving only to be met with disappointment. Their price point was 13/16 and something else. We chose to have the 16$ Sting ray to share between two. The Stingray is excecise book thin and coated with a copious amount of sambal to hide it's small-ness. Some may say the store across serves a larger portion, 3x as big for the same price point.

Ming Yen BBQ is Halal and have many varieties of food for you to choose from. It's located at Lau Pa Sat.

VERY LONG WAIT, TERRIBLE FOOD. AVOID AT ALL COST. This place is a total disgrace to Singapore. We ordered oyster omelette, cockles, and salted egg calamari. The stale oysters were sloppily added on a plain omelette. The calamari was yuckily soggy. The cockles were sealed shut and muddy. It is a gross misrepresentation of what Singapore delicacy should be.

Cheating store, the food served not as menu. Banana leave fried rice not wrapped by banana leave, only small piece of leave in the packing. Stir fried mixed vegetables without broccoli, black fungus.
