Service your mini here if you're still on warranty. If not, it's just too expensive (and there's equivalent affordable car servicing elsewhere)

Friendly staff but policies are overly-restrictive, making it hard to request for assistance even though car may have experienced some symptoms. Compared to BMW, which have very similar cars (share same engine etc), seems that Mini is even more restrictive.

The entrance to the Service Centre is from Kung Chong Road and is shared with Porsche and Rolls Royce service centre. So don't get confused when you drive in. The staff are very attentive and they explain the service process and options in detail. I like the black themed interior and even the desks look really cool. They finish the work very early from the promised delivery time, and the service is excellent.

pleasantly different in that the call was answered pretty much immediately unlike other places who always claim high call volume for slow answer. receptionist was helpful, unlike their sales staff when i visit the showroom who don’t even bother to make eye contact when i walk thru the showroom towards the service reception.

Not sure how I feel about my recent experience there. I had a battery issue earlier this week and my car could not start. At 8 something AM, called the 24h assistance hotline and the lady who spoke to me, after confirming my details, said they would send the technician over and that because my car was still under warranty, any repair or battery change would be free of charge. So, someone came to analyze my car. He said that there is something wrong with the battery but he cannot tell what is the issue and the car needs to be sent to the service center for further testing. We arranged for a tow truck. At noon, I got a call from the service center. The man on the line says that actually, my car is not under warranty, so the diagnosis and repair services will have to be charged. Which is not what I was initially told. Ok, never mind. Let’s diagnose the issue first. I didn’t get a call back until 9.30am the next day. He said that the battery is just flat and needs to be replaced, and then quoted me $800(!!!!!!!!) to replace the battery. Because apparently the battery costs $600 and the workmanship fee is $200. Never heard of battery replacement costing $800. Shocking!! I wonder if they just pulled this number out of thin air thinking they could scam me. Of course, we declined and took the car elsewhere. ??‍♀️??‍♀️
