Overall taste was good and the price was affordable too. I like the fried pork intestines in particular, it was both tender and crispy. The fried fermented tofu was good, crispy outside; as many reviews said it was more to the mild side, but anyway I could still smell and taste the fermented taste.

Only modes of payments at the shop are cash or PayNow. No cards accepted, so beware. Front counter staff does not issue you your receipt after payment made, so DOUBLE BEWARE, as you won't be able to show proof of payment should they not honour your order. My order: 1 original Stinky Tofu 臭豆腐 1 'Che Zai' Cart Noodle Soup 车仔青 1 Mango Sago Pomelo ζ₯Šζžη”˜ιœ² 1 Gingko Nut & Bean Curd Skin Sweet Soup η™½ζžœθ…η«Ή The Stinky Tofu is miserable. Not only the portion barely anything, with the crust so dried it hurts your gums biting into a piece, and the inner part basically AIR. No, not water in Malay, but literally air. So what scam of "thick cut"? It's basically crumbling nothingness, and hardly with any stink either, so to have it named an any part of "stinky" or "tofu", is an insult. Cart noodles soup is, well, so so. The soup tastes like some instant mix broth boiled with processed stuff like the fishballs, imitation crab stick and sausages. The only saving grace is the prawn paste-marinated fried chicken wing. The rest of the noodles, not worth your calories. Mango Sago Pomelo base is so watery, and tastes like it's added with artificial colouring and flavoring, surely not made of just fruit juice or puree as the base. Even my mum, who doesn't have a very discerning palette, has same sentiments. My mum had the Ginkgo nut with bean curd skin is the only decent item, not overly sweet or bland, and has a good amount of pearl barley, fair amount of Gingko nuts and bean curd skin.

Beef dried hor fun- very average. Not good but also not bad, got this as a filler. Normal smelly tofu- nice crispy exterior and soft juicy interior(but abit watery). My friend said not smelly enough, but for me just nice. I don’t like how they serve the same sauce for everything though it doesnt match everything on the menu. Crispy smelly tofu- i liked this more cos of the texture. Crispy pig intestines- nice and crispy skin, soft chewy interior. No smell. Very good. Fried oysters- big portion! Served with some crispy nuts on top. Oysters were juicy and this was unexpectedly yummy. But like i said, disappointing that there wasn’t a more suitable sauce. Asked for chilli padi and they said they only have the same sauce for everything. Overall the food took some time but everything came super hot and very crispy which I appreciated. I wouldnt mind coming back again if i have cravings. Obviously not as authentic as what i’ve had in china but ok la reasonable price and taste. Only other thing is the inside of the eatery is SUPER hot man, made it less shiok.

Located at the corner of start of geylang street on the right side if you are starting from paya lebar side. Came with parents and wife on a sat evening around 8+, not too crowded and have spaces. Of course must try dish #1 fermented tofu (my mum dont like the smelly but the rest of us like) my second time eating I think? Can't remember where the first was? Maybe HK? Next they ordered dish #44b gingko nut and beancurd skin sweet soup which all of them like very much but is served cold. My wife asked to warm it up which they are ok. Then came the main dishes. Dish #36 xing zhou bee hoon (very very nice! The best imo) Dish #27 century egg porridge (better than #28) Dish #28 cuttlefish porridge (too watery) Dish #24 sotong with pepper salted (yeah they loved it too I find it decent too) The rest of drinks are normal. But i was thinking since this is HK cafe shouldn't they also serve famous HK milk tea? Then guaranteed 5* I would rate overall 4.5 out of 5 for this and will come back if my wife plans for fermented tofu again.

Is not just the stinky tofu that you should try, go for the pig intestines as well! Unfortunately the portion for the pig intestines is getting smaller and smaller not really shiok. If you want something that taste kinda shiok can try out their coconut shake just that it doesn’t have the coconut meat, but the drink is ice blended so its damn shiok worth to try though it’s kinda on the pricier end.

If you love stinky tofu, this is the place to come. Located about 2 minutes away from paya lebar mrt, they have a few tables but most of the time you won't face any issues just walking-in. We picked the slices stinky tofu, it doesn't smell that strong and taste is on point but I would rather order the original one. To pair it, just order century porridge and fried intestines, portion is a bit small but the taste is a blast! To finish we ordered fried potatoes floss which was very unique.

Came here for the fermented beancurd (臭豆腐) and gosh it's super good! We ordered the thinner slice version to try; was super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside ... Very very recommended to try if you like fermented toufu! ? We also ordered the pork and century egg porridge, and a bowl of beef noodles. Both are not bad. They gave a lot of century egg bits in the porridge, very very generous. Do give this place a try!

The fried Tofu was awesome. The thin slices were fried till they were extremely crispy, resulting in lesser pungent smell. This might appeal to those who want to try this for the first time. The standard fried Tofu had more smell to it, but still not at the Hong Kong level so you need not worry. The Tofu was fried well, crispy on the outside yet still juicy on the inside. Paired with the chilli sauce, sweet sauce and achar, it made the Tofu even better. The pig trotters vinegar was great for those who don't like excessive ginger taste. I think they used young ginger which gave it a milder ginger taste. The amount of vinegar was just right. The sour and spicy soup was a little too spicy for my liking, but hey if you are a huge fan of spicy food then this would certainly be something you would like a lot. You should order their coconut blended to wash everything down, and remove the smell from your breath, but then again if you burp good luck to those around you. Came here after 9 pm and parking was easy and free. Would definitely come back again for my smelly Tofu craving.
