β β β β β Ingredients used are fresh and tasty. Service is warm. Restaurant isn't big but private rooms are avail. Price is on the expensive side. Expect crowd during weekdays. Only opened for dinner on Sat and closed on Sun.

Food, on the otherhand, was average for the price I paid.
The soup in the teapot has a slight burnt after taste. I've been to many many Japanese restaurants and this is the first of this experience.

β β β β β I have special praise for this place. They offer the freshest sashimi and consistently excellent cooked food - but you could say the same about other restaurants. There are two things that set Misaki apart from the rest of the pack:
Firstly, the prices are a notch lower compared to restaurants of similar quality. Secondly, they've got a head chef who shows real pride in his work and an eye for detail while remaining personable.
Don't worry if you're not a huge fan of the "omakase" experience, because they've got seasonal sets and the usual Washoku fare on the menu as well. All good. Well worth your time and money.

β β β β β The Kurobuta Katsu Don Teishoku is a bit dry unfortunately. I have seen how chef prepare the fresh salmon before my at the counter and I believe the sushi served there is good. I will try next time. The restaurant is very bright and clean and neat.

I had the promotional set meal costing $78 which had some starters, sashimi, crab croquette, tempura rice and fish stew like, dessert. It was decently priced, but there wasnβt anything special.

β β β β β Came here for a birthday celebration on Thursday night. Located conveniently in mbfc.
Very friendly and warm staffs! Food was delicious, fresh and presented nicely. The team also went the extra mile to prepare a birthday ice-cream dessert surprise for us too. Appreciate it and will definitely come back again.
