not nice not authentic.. dk why other reviews say nice.. maybe that day i went the chef mc? not much business on a sunday evening also..

Great new Thai eatery, I liked their Thai sauce fried fish, basil pork, pineapple fried rice and prawn omelette. Authentic taste and friendly service.

You can call in to place orders. Their Tom Yum is especially tasty and I enjoyed the variety they provide.

More like sour kind of tom yum soup that have fresh shrimps and clams.no spicy. $6.50 per dish. Generous portion of rice.

Chanced upon this coffeehouse in blk 119. I found this store by the name of the "moment Thai" pretty interesting. Therefore, I gave it a shot. The chef is 2x Thai people; they can speak Thai and English and Mandarin as well. Pretty cool people. Now to the food. Its original thai food prepped by Thai people, but they've adjusted the taste to suit the locals. I have tried their salt baked fish, it's pretty awesome and great value for money, it's big and the chilli sauce that is supposed to go with it is delicious. You have to wait for about 20 to 30 mins for this fish because its covered entirely with salt and then baked with lemon grass in it. Its pretty nice and fresh and delicious as well. What's more, the fish is like 20$ for a medium-sized sized fish. Great deal. Now come to the tomyum soup. Generous portion, and not too over bearing with spiciness, it's more of the sweet side of things, it's not like some Tom yum soup where its just spicy spicy and nothing else. The seafood inside the soup is also pretty generous, too. The fried fish sausage. Personal favourite. A bit on the oily side, but very good appetiser.. The stir-fried kai lan is really awesome. It has little tinge of spiciness, and they used roast pork with a bit of sauce to stir fry. The end result, you get really good "wok hey" kai lan with the saltiness and fragrance of the roasted pork. Overall, I think this store is pretty decently priced, and the food is awesome. I will be back to try out more of its dish. I'm surprised to find such a decent Thai food in a sleepy, aljunid neighbourhood.
