Teacher Monica is a deeply passionate piano teacher who will go the extra mile to cater to students of different needs. She is firm when it comes to making sure the students have a good foundation. At the same time, she is very caring and flexible and is willing to adjust lessons to cater to the students’ school workload, especially during the examination period. She will take time off to guide the students to play pieces of their interest even though it is not in the syllabus. Her passion for nurturing students comes with her making extra effort to plan piano concerts for her students, draft newsletters, and recognise little effort from her students. She also patiently answers my questions during lessons so that I can help my sons when they practice at home. By designing her lessons in a structured and creative manner, she made learning piano fun and enriching at the same time. In doing so, she has rekindled the love for piano playing in my children. The boys cannot wait to try the different pieces at home and always look forward to attending their weekly lessons with her. I will strongly recommend her to anyone who would like to learn how to play the piano.

After the trial lesson, our kids told me that they love having music lessons with Teacher Monica. Thus, we decided to let them start their music learning journey with Teacher Monica. The kids enjoyed all the music activities that Teacher Monica has prepared well in advance for them every week, and they also love to play the reinforcement music games together at home. We are glad that Teacher Monica gave an opportunity for our kids to perform in a virtual concert even though they have just started their music lessons within a month with her. Teacher Monica is a dedicated and caring teacher who goes the extra mile for her students. It is evident that she puts her heart and time into planning the lesson and curating engaging activities for her students. My girl looks forward to her lessons every week. She enjoys the variation of activities planned to help her in note reading and being able to play well. Under the guidance of Teacher Monica, my girl has progressed significantly and tremendously. Most importantly, my girl has also developed values such as self discipline and independence in the process. I have started lessons with Monica just over 6 months and it has been an enjoyable journey for me as an adult student, though I have learned to play piano many years ago, intermittently crossing from classical to pop piano. During these past few months I was motivated and inspired to come back to piano even when I have to unlearn many of the ways I was taught before. Monica is an excellent teacher with a wealth of experience as piano teacher and not only is she adaptable to my needs, she taught me techniques, listening to music and enjoy music! Thank you!

Ms Monica is a very experienced and professional piano teacher. Her lessons are very interesting and well-planned. At the same time, she is very friendly and engaging. My 5-year old daughter has been learning piano with Ms Monica for half a year and she is always looking forward to having lesson every week. She is very meticulous and pays attention to details such as hand and finger positions, articulations, note reading, listening, and rhythm sense. I believe this is very important to build a strong foundation before progressing to higher levels. This was one of my main considerations when deciding which piano teacher to send my daughter to as I understand not all piano teachers would pay such great attention to this.

Ms Monica is an excellent piano teacher. She has a well planned piano lessons for kids which includes games and fun filled activities.
