I did weekly prenatal yoga in the second and third trimester with Anna which was great. There were some really informative resources in preparing for birth and for recovery. The breastfeeding help I got from Uma virtually was so useful, both at the beginning and when I began combination feeding. Thank you for all the help!

She is so professional and caring, she is highly experienced and she always provide specific advice depending on your conditions, for both physical classes and virtual classes. And amazing Baby Massage class with Isabelle (IAIM instructor)! It has been such a wonderful discovery which is able to change your bonding with baby for the entire life. I highly recommend Mother&Child center for their warm and efficient support during pregnancy and after birth. Dealing with specialists and being part of a community of parents and babies are crucial during these precious moments. I have been very happy to practise pre-natal and post-natal yoga with Anna, to attend the Preparation classes and the Mummies get together classes, as well as the First Aid course with my husband. Thanks to M&C team!

With the advice, guidance and unflinching support from Mother and Child since (Athina, Isabelle, Anna & staff at M&C) , we were definitely blessed with the knowledge and assurance of navigating through our first childbirth with confidence. They were available to help in any way and any needed time. I swear by and actively recommend (to our other friends) about the enriching experience with Athina's prenatal classes, Isa's lactation consultation and Anna's pre/post natal yoga sessions that have undoubtedly led us to a healthy n happy parenting. Truly believe they are the experts in this field whose guidance was absolutely indispensable.
C	Cheryl Chieng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended the intensive childbirth preparation class that was hosted by Isa and Athina. Both sessions were very informative and content packed. Super helpful for first-time parents! We also enjoyed our Active Birth Class taught by Isa with interesting & fun hands-on practice on what to expect during labour and breathing count practices that involve husband as active birth partner. I've also been attending Prenatal yoga zoom classes taught by Anna and find them incredibly relaxing with the stretches to relieve body tensions and to prep a stronger body for shorter labour. Anna is clear with the instructions and class is well-paced for us to follow. I like it that time is set aside for kegel and breathing exercises to be incorporated in the class too. Highly recommend!
J	J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After hearing so much about their lactation consultant, the session I had was a huge miss. We went in and felt so rushed throughout the entire process, and the consultation also lacked empathy. The LC didn’t seem to understand the barriers or how hard it is with a baby who’s not efficient at latching or want to latch - and just kept saying to do it instead of breaking down how we could overcome the barriers and difficulties. Because of the experience, I have decided to stop latching my baby as well as it just felt too overwhelming. Perhaps the LC is very experienced and does not have time to understand mummy psyche , or too popular to spend more time but overall we walked away feeling unsupported. Not sure if a coincidence but The other practitioner referred by the LC , a male osteopath - was also similar in our experience - cold , clinical and lacking empathy or love for babies.
Y	Yuka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a new mom, Mother & Child has been integral to my breastfeeding journey. My husband and I visited Uma for a pre-lactation consultation. She was very warm, calm and reassuring. She helped me prepare for breastfeeding and taught me how to extract colostrum which we then brought with us to hospital. After birth, I wanted a home-visit so a LC could witness my LO and I in our element to assess if we were doing things right. Isa was extremely supportive, knowledgeable and thorough in her approach. It was very comforting having her, especially as a first-time mom with no family in Singapore. She was also there for me when I thought I was on the cusp of mastitis. Thank you Uma and Isa for the invaluable help! Would highly recommended Mother & Child!
v	vikas pandey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t thank Uma enough for her amazing support during the early days. As first-time parents, we were second guessing everything we were doing. We couldn’t go out to meet a consultant due to the pandemic. But Uma was there for us on Zoom - she patiently answered all our questions. Her knowledge is incredible but she is also one of the kindest souls I know. If you want a consultant who wouldn’t judge you and take care of you like a family member, just go to her. She knows her craft so well and she could tell even on video call what our child needed. But most importantly, she helped my wife believe in herself and not to be too hard on herself. Things became better for us after each session with her.

Uma is so down to earth, kind, non judgmental and caring. She facilitates an excellent service with dedication and years of experience which not only looks after bubs but new mums too. Highly recommend Mother & Child for any new mums who need a quality lactation consultant.
