Designer: Isaac Low I came across one of Mr Designer Studio completed project on social media which caught our eye and Isaac was recommended to us as the designer for that particular project. Like most new home owners embarking on a renovation journey, we consulted several ID firms for advice and comparison but the decision was easy to make as Isaac has an eye to capture & conceptualize what we are looking for while considering factors like making economic sense and design practicality. Importantly, it was the attention to details and meticulous approach which was a few notches above other IDs we met. When our keys came, Isaac was quick to step in to commence project management by helping with defect checks and drawing up the expected timeline. The renovation journey was smoother beyond our expectations despite the manpower crunch with the backdrop of a pandemic. We were constantly updated on the progress with photos and we were also consulted us on specific details before proceeding certain installation or configuration - Something which we fully appreciate as our opinions are incorporated into our new home. Liaising with vendors like electrician was a breeze as Isaac acted as a good center point of contact for us. Renovation took about 9 weeks from start to handover, overwhelmingly impressive given the current COVID-19 situation and there were extensive works like hacking of walls involved (we were expecting 12-15 weeks) The end product is outstanding with excellent workmanship delivered. Doing a quick comparison to the 3D renderings, we notice there is little to none deviation from the initial concepts where our demands and requests (wherever practical) are met with Isaac support. Aside, special shout out to the carpenter who was assgined to our project - Thanks for the great service and proactive involvement! To home owners out there, we will highly recommend engaging Isaac as your ID if you are looking for quality designing and renovation as well as value for your money. Thank you Isaac once again.

As of last sat of Mar 2022, I had encountered unscrupulous acts directed to me as a result of writing and publishing this review; relevant authority was reported. ** See full review on Hometrust and Qanvast of 6 Mar 2022** ** WARNING: Mr Designer Studio is NOT CaseTrust/CaseTrust-RCMA accredited or HDB-licensed** Renovation started in mid-Jul 2021 with scheduled dates for completion in end-Aug 21. Renovation was not fully completed in Sep 21, when I moved in. I had to remove some paper cartons from the renovation myself. A dirty broom, left in the kitchen was conveyed to me that it was a gift for me. Bits of remaining renovation and rectifications went on, till it was eventually completed during early Nov 21. I can fully understand that going through renovation, during this pandemic period, can be extremely challenging. In addition, in my case, additional challenges include a tight timeline with renovation start date and move-in date. I appreciated Mr. Designer Studio for taking up this project with renovation start date and move-in date in accordance to plan. The uncompleted renovation and rectifications (particularly kitchen backsplash and countertop, kitchen carpentry, uneven bathroom subway tiles' grout lines) proceeded inconveniently on Saturdays after I moved in. In fact, each of the bathroom cost me doubled the usual market price because it was overlayed entirely with wall subway tiles and floor mosaic tiles. I had high expectations on the two bathrooms; a lot of effort was done to rectify the unevenness of the wall subway tiles’ grout lines, to the extent that the tiler could not salvage the unevenness as what’s done was already done. I had put up with the inconveniences, excuses, hiccups, communication issues along the way. It is after all a young company; having insufficient experiences to handle complex situations ! If you are looking for an ID to renovate your new house, some advice based on this experience: -Renovation should never be an urgent decision. -Look out and find a most suitable ID. It should NOT be based on their design portfolios, but on their interaction with you and their attitude. Particularly for ladies renovating your house, be aware of ID that is a bully. He can resort to accusing, scolding, and treating you unreasonably. Be smart to identify ‘smoke’, facts versus excuses and/or situations created by them but nonfactual. -Look out for workmanship. Repair works called in after staying for a few months with toilet-bowl choked by cement from renovation works, window started to slant and could not be closed properly, water leaks etc. P.S. See attached snapshot - fixing appointment timings could be smoked till the issue resolved with myself as owner liaising with the contractors directly.

Dear Designer studio, I would really like to thank you for having such a helpful and creative interior designer Joe. Joe was very detailed,creative and optimistic at his work. I am extremely glad on the outcome for my house. Joe could see that i was very stress due to having 2 jobs thus,he was kind enough to look for my appliances and which retailer has better offers and looks nice. I1 believe its very rare for a designer to seek out appliances for you. . Joe treated me like a younger brother and a friend, thus the communication barrier lays out smoothly. The suggested decoration, theme colours,lightings and the furnishing matches perfectly in order.The best part he is so funny, friendly at the same time outspoken not pushy and even he asked me to consider if i really want to add some VOs which i still want. Other then that, he is also very reponsible, hardworking and patient I am so happy i chose Mr Designer concept such an excellent designer, It was indeed an extremely pleasurable experience for a first timer. I will definitely recommend Joe if i know someone who needs revocation works. Not so many IDs will drive you around look for appliances makan and all. As a sales /ID he has demonstrated a good role model on the company image and i believe any interior designer companies should treasure this kind of IDs as they are a rare gem. Joe came to my housewarming today and gave me a gift. He took notice of every scratches and would even ask help me replace if there are some damages. Was being recommended to Mr designer studio (lewis) by a friend and was being very well taken care of by our ID Lewis. With our very tight time line ( only 6 weeks ) during CNY period lewis really tried his best and max out his man power. I would say this part he really put in alot of effort. Nevertheless the design being planned really turns out to be the same. I really appreciate how Lewis coordinate and get things done. I'm glad I made the right choice.
