Beware of the MSW durians - they are of poor quality (I suspect they are not even MSW) but expensive. I was charged $23 per kg. Only buy if you want big seed and lousy quality and little meat MSW. It doesnβt taste like MSW at all and think the guy is a cheat so buyer beware. He did let me try it but he positioned it as only taking abit of the meat / pulp - tried to scold me when I tried to get one seed out itself hence I think thatβs why I couldnβt tell when trying.
The guy was also unfriendly. I asked if there is a discount if I bought more. He said no and if you ask for discount then donβt come anymore. I bought 2 MSW and 1 butter fyi and total price was $107.
Beware ya if you want to get your durians from here. Suspect their MSW is not actually MSW. Cheaters

β β β β β Bought ι»ηη durian at 28/kg. Gave us 1 fake inferior breed mixed in with the real stuff. Confront them and they tried to weasel their way out. Will bully first time buyers by weighing the basket together with the durians and mixing inferior breeds with the one you ordered. Highly recommend people to stay away. Went to another stall afterwards and learnt about all this shady practices after some conversation.

β β β β β A small place, great to hang out on a weekday afternoon where's there's not much people. Uncle Mr Durian was there to serve us and he got us a great bread prawn durian. Water was also free so that's a nice touch.

β β β β β Amazing experience with the store. We had company/colleague eat out in the shop. In this small durian shop, we stuffed ourselves many exquisite durians. It's like "Durian Pub" vibes at the place with many folks enjoying fruit along with their family and friends. Friendly and supportive staff.

β β β β β We were around the area and suddenly we had an impromptu idea to look for durian to enjoy. We called a few places but they did'nt have any good durians, all said to call again next week. From google map we chanced upon Mr Durian - sure did not disappoint. We made a call 1st - frenly boss over d fone. When we arrived, we were well served by boss and his staff - nil cockyness (which we experienced elsewhere). Fair price-point. Last but not least - Taste was superb! Will be back!
