Roast pork is good but the lady stall owner is super friendly. Must support.

Came to pek kio market for a decent plate of roast, and was so thoroughly disappointed. Meat was very very dry, as if it had been put out overnight. There was no queue at the store either. What happened?

One of the most affordable roasts around and the old aunty is so pleasant and polite. She does it all alone at that age and this earns my admiration. Portions are good as well and vegetables and home cooked soup go with the roasts. Quaint and excellent stall!

This place serves a generous portion and is economically priced. Friendly owner.

Best stall out of the four in my opinion (except I don't eat white chicken). Very generous meat servings, very tender roast chicken (which is very rare in even stalls with long queues anywhere else) Really deserves more merit/credit and customers.

This is actually the Best Among the rest. Authentic Hong Kong Roast Standard. Yes agreed with the earlier review....Aunty is one of the Most Friendly Person I ever met. Good Health and Joy to her always. ;-) Visited many Many times. Today 6th Feb 2022, I decided to make a quick update. STILL the BEST.

These are the worxx roasted meats I have ever tasted. Even I can do better. The soup omg has no taste though it looked good. Returned the whole plate back (return plate counter).

We saw and was moved by an old video which featured this very kind and friendly aunty solo owner of this roast-meat stall. She’s been selling for over 50 years and known for giving free coupons to the elderly twice a month to redeem her meals. So came here to support her stall. Ordered roast duck & roastpork combo and roast duck & #charsiew combo. $4.50 each. Meats all soft, given lots of meaty duck breast meat with little bones. Well-caramelised thick slices of char siew. All drizzled with 2 types of sauces, dark sweet sauce and duck sauce. Her side veggies of stir fried bell peppers and cabbages makes a colourful appetiser for a well-balanced meal. Her lotus root soup is light and tasty. After our meal, we went back to her stall to praise her delicious meal and she brightened up with a toothy grin. Messy plates of awesomeness!
