Very bad experience with the owner, proclaimed Mr Vadai Founder. Ordered mini Vadai, mixed, I saw him threw the vadais into the plastic bag unhappily, and threw the green chili's in, while a few dropped out onto the ground. After which I ordered an extra chicken skin, he told me aggressively - 'if you want to order, order all at once, don't waste my time, you are lucky there's no queue today, if not I won't entertain you, think first then order all.' I was shocked and I asked him was there a queue that I'm slowing down, I just wanted to add the chicken skin because there was so many varieties, and there was no queue behind me at all, and all I ordered was already in the front just that he had to put it in the bag. The stall owner asked me for my name, which I in return questioned him for the reason for my name, and I told him please have some respect for your customer, and I did not inconvenient him. This is really a very bad experience for me here, as I frequent to this coffeeshop. The stall was there for less than a year and just because it has Vadai Founder , it has weights to throw around, being so arrogant..... Really really disappointed with it, I will never buy from this stall again even though I frequent this coffeeshop. Rather go else where for Vadais

This joint ranges between 2 to 5 stars. I was lucky enough to get a freshly cooked, piping hot batch of vadai, which affected my scoring. Crispy on the outside, fluffy and moist on the inside, and seasoned well with fragrant Indian spice, this stall certainly knows how to get these fried snacks it right. If you get a cold batch that has been resting for a while, toast them in the oven for about 3 minutes to get them warm and fluffy. Good stuff, but not to be over indulged.

Didn’t realise they are located in this place. Decided to buy a few pieces to try as I was waiting for my prata at the famous (for food and for the queue) Mr Mrs Mohgan’s prata. The vadai is good, though it would have been much better if it’s fresh out from the oven. Overall good.

New branch added here at Joo Chiat Road, originally at Upper Changi. The vadai is one of the best I have eaten so far, the dough is fluffy and nicely fried. The prawn is fresh and juicy too. I think this makes the difference as often the prawn are dry and over fried from other places. They do sell some other snacks like samosas, curry puffs and goreng pisangs.

Good mix of vadai flavors (plain, sardine, chili, vegetable, ikan bilis and prawn) to try with 6 pieces for $5. Everything was so delicious and devoured at a go. My favorites got to be the vegetable, chili and ikan bilis. Sardine was surprising as well and didn't have the fishy after taste. Appreciate how the female staff was friendly and patient with queries. While the waiting time was long due to several bulk orders, we were rewarded with piping hot, soft and fresh vadais. Cashless payment is also available too.

Okay it's really good! Yes pretty oily, and bit salty, but doubt can find the dough anywhere else like this. Super cripsy, good chew, chilli great kick. 6 for $5, 10 mini for $4, can mix flavours, very good worth. Located in a corner coffeeshop. PayNow acceptable.

Vadai were pleasant but oily (oil not hot enough?) $1.30 each had a nice β€œbounce” when biting into them I tried the Nasi lemak $3.50 also average. Lots of plain rice sambal was hot but not enough. Chicken / fish were typical over cooked but not badly so. I don’t drink the awful watery tea/coffee at the Kopitiam so I Tau bao to Dunman food centre to eat

Wasn't quite a fan of vadai. While waiting for our prata from Mr Mrs Moghan, decided to buy some to try. Couldn't really recall what it was called. But it's delicious. And when you bite a of the green chilli that was given, you get nice spicy kick to it. The curry puff was fairly decent too.
