Ordered prawn vadai. It’s smaller in size which is ok but it feels abit oily as it’s served cold. Would have prefer it hot. They very generous in their portion n give a lot of chilli. The owner is very friendly

Prices has gone up 30%, used to be $1 per vadai, now $1.30. Used to be 6 vadai for $5, now it's 5 vadai for $6. Bearing in mind inflation, 30% is way too much an increase. Standard has also dropped, very oily and they always give a lesser number of chillis than the number of vadai. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this stall.

The vadais were piping hot & crispy and the green chilli really complemented. The staff at the store were very happy go lucky and engaging to all their customers. Managed to get an assortment of items outside of the menu (i.e in lesser quantities). Did not enjoy the skewers as much but loved the cempadaks and keropoks.

Vadais just deep fried must be one of the most delicious flour based snacks. Topped with a fresh crunchy prawn , or anchovies which doubles the flavour. There is also a wide selection of other deep fried snacks which will hit the spot. Their dhal is healthy and spicy with curry leaves and other fresh herbs and spices . Whilst most delicious eaten on the spot handed straight from being deep fried, we would buy at least a dozen and heat them up in a preheated hot oven for a few minutes. The oil in the vadai will continue to crisp it while heating - not too long though or it will become too crunchy hard. The dhal actually improves with steaming and after being kept in the fridge after being bought, can also be a good snack after 10 or so minutes of steaming.

This must be one of the best if not the best Vadai I have eaten. The vadai dough is soft and chewy, and when eaten piping hot with the green chilli, the satisfaction is just priceless. Besides the vadai, the Dhal with curry leaves is so good and perfect as a healthy snack.
