Offer Mee Jian Kueh(MJK) and Munchi Pancake (which is two pancakes sandwich together with a filling of your choice). The MJK was not bad. Slightly fragrant and chewy. Can't really taste the green tea and charcoal flavour from the MJK. The fillings taste like your usual coconut filing and peanut butter filling. What I really like is their filling for their Munchi Pancake which I didn't took a picture of. I got the Cream Cheese and Thai Milk Tea. Cream cheese was really good, on the sweet side which complemented the pancake really well. Thai Milk tea was good as well. Fragrant and sweet, just like your regular Thai Milk tea drink. Overall I prefer their Munchi Pancake over their MJK.

If there was 6 stars to award it wouldn’t be enough for this fabulous stall. Love the flavours ranging form traditional to modern flavours. Best choice : lotus biscott - hands down. Black on black and matcha red bean also very good. Will definitely good again. This stall for me is the crowd puller and the reason I would travel all the way to Yishun!

It’s featured in the top places for Min Jiang Kueh (Ayam Balik/Martabak manis) and I totally agree. There are three varieties traditional, munchi and mini-munchi pancakes with filling and each come in either of the three skins, original, charcoal or green tea. Tried the traditional (thick pancake with filling by fold over, this is the best) and munchi (two thin pancakes with filling in between). Fillings vary including peanut, red bean, Belgian chocolate and sesame being common with several other options in other varieties. You can’t pick and match the filling with skin type if it’s not already prepared for traditional but you can choose your filling for munchi pancake since it’s assembled impromptu.

The best Min Jiang Kueh in Yishun. The pancake come with a soft texture and is flavourful and is packed with generous amount of filings like peanut, red bean, coconut, black sesame etc. Recommend to try the peanut and black sesame type.

I love the texture of their mee Chiang kueh not too thick and a little QQ. Their innovative filling gave a new life to the traditional kueh. Charcoal sesame was my favourite with a tinch of saltiness . The coconut was nice too not too sweet . I was abit close to their closing today hope there are more flavours like bean paste , sweet potato , yam etc ?? I will try more of their flavour next time .

Was craving min jiang kueh and found this on google search. Reached the hawker centre around 6pm ish on labour's day. There was already a short queue (around 7 people). I've noticed that the service is quite slow (or maybe taking their time to serve customers???), hence there's a queue. There's only one man taking orders and packing them for walk-ins. Other two were in charge of cooking and packing online orders. I bought the traditional pancakes. If you are into thick peanut butter paste min jiang kueh, you'll like this. Personally I prefer the powdery peanut toppings. The original peanut flavour ($1.40) is tasty but oily. Halfway through the piece, I was feeling overwhelmed aka jelat. In fact I struggled to finish the entire piece of pancake. The charcoal sesame ($1.70) was quite delicious. Shared this with family. So didn't feel jelat. The green tea red bean flavour ($1.40) was not bad too. Also shared with family. Overall the min jiang kueh will taste better if they cut back on the oil.

Love to come here to get MCK as an afternoon snack!! I highly recommend black sesame filling and peanut filling, I believe both these fillings are handmade by them and it’s super addictive. Black sesame paste has a very earthy+strong black sesame flavour and mildly sweet, it has little burst of salt flakes here and there that makes it really enjoyable. The peanut filling is buttery, smooth, and sweet. After trying all the different MCK skins they have, I still prefer the original skin to go along with any fillings

Ordered the peanut pancake cos I’m a big fan of peanut pancake and I love traditional flavours. Enjoyed the combination of creamy peanut butter and the crunchy bits. It went really well with the consistency of the pancake too. Will be back for more and maybe get a taste of the other flavours.
