Indeed it is yummy stuff.. however expect a wait for ur yummy noodle as boss is usually OMO.

I don't know lah the standards of the bloggers. I think they need to explore more places to compare. I regret ordering the large bowl as I think the normal one is enough for me to feel jialat. Charsiew is fat and if it's a bit caramalized, then I'd give it another star. Wanton is the saving grace and can feel the shrimps. Without this, they can only get my 2 stars.

I had a few layers of thoughts when I had this meal this afternoon. Yes I know that this stall was recommended by so popular gourmets. My initial impression of the presentation of the dish was excellent as seen by pictures. Next I stirred the noodles and took a bite, the noodles were indeed excellently handmade. Good texture. Simple things like veg was perfectly cooked too, it's still crunchy and not old. The soup wasn't fantastic, but it's not just a bowl of plain yellow bean soup, it has a light unique taste to it. The dumplings were stuff with crunchy prawns too which gave you a wonderful bite. Char siew was just so so. With so much positives to this dish, why only 3 stars? I guess the most important part of the dish -- the base sauce. It just had no power to it. Plus, it cost $4.50. Not a normal hawker centre price. Overall, the dish does not command a $4.50 price tag.
