Really really amazed at the luncheon meat!!!! & lotus root ?? IT IS AMAZING that they fry their luncheon meat + lotus root & not just NORMAL boiling and stir fry everything wow WE over ordered $50+++ for this huge bowl

Would go back again. Not bad. But not wow. $13 - soso on the value. Got medium spicy and was soso spicy. Not like “die lor” spicy.

After several years of 'training' I think Singaporeans are experts with mala xiang guo. This is not meeting the minimal standard required. The spice was odd, I'm not talking about the heat or the 嘛, it's the mix of 香料 they used.. it tasted weird (to me). Though not very pricey by Orchard's standard.. its not what one would call good value. Hope they can up their game.

The OG of mala. Definitely an overpriced version of Yong Tau Fool. But I’m not a fool for sure because the ingredients are fresh, fried to perfection and very tasty! I highly recommend the lowest level of spice to start with because it can get fiercely spicy if you go for their extreme tier. Also, do share it with a friend or two so you can order more ingredients and have a variety of it in a single serving.

Doesn’t taste like mala. Not 麻not 辣. I do not understand why there is a long queue for it. The 辣子鸡 filled with small bones in every piece. Very terrible experience. Not worth it.

I always enjoyed eating this brand of mala. But the price like more and more ex. Even a simple one person meal sets you back easily by $20 and it was not a super filling or big portion that i pick. Also they were having some voting contest to booast their brand. Dun appreciate them giving discount to solicitate votes.

Went here based on a friend's recommendation and loved it. I really don't understand all the bad reviews. The mala was flavorful (not too ma) and ingredients tasted fresh. Definitely recommend getting the fish filets - they fry them up nicely. It's not that expensive given the location. Cant wait to go back!
