β β β β β When we first stepped in to this quaint little shop at the void deck, the decoration caught me off guard. The experience of ordering food wasnβt the best, but I have to say the food was lovely.
I selected the Tom yum prawn pasta as everyone recommended it. Usually we are more hesitant to try fusion food, but this was done well. The prawns were huge and fresh, the broth had the right amount of sourness and it wasnβt too creamy to make it jelat.

β β β β β Food was great! Interesting local twist to the dishes too. The Tom yum prawn pasta had a great creamy broth that wasn't too spicy & the prawns were fresh & succulent. Pork chop fried rice was great as well. Crispy fried pork cutlet & the fried rice was really fragrant. Also love their ha chiong gai (prawn paste fried chicken) with mala sauce. Gives the traditional dish a unique spicy kick?? They don't charge GST or service charge so prices are really reasonable. The only glaring thing lacking is service. I think they're kinda jaded of humans & try to have 0 interaction. When forced to interact, they talk like a robot with no warmth or welcome. I guess they've been worn out by entitled & demanding customers in the past so they put no effort now. But a lil' effort & a lil' smile could go a long way & I hope they find the light within themselves to do just that someday??

β β β β β They've good concept, interesting menu and great chef. The food tastes yum and is decent for its price. The lime cooler is so shiok in this 36Β°C weather. Only one thing is the waiting time a bit long. Ok if you're not in a rush.

β β β β β By far one of the best bacon carbonaras Iβve ever had. Itβs the real thing - not just canned mushroom soup poured over spaghetti. Plus not so rich and scary; the texture and creaminess is just nice. Worthy price for such quality. Definitely recommend!

β β β β β Tom yum broth was very special. Prawns were big and fresh. Overall good. Price is on the mid-range side, about $13

β β β β β It is a small cafe located under the blocks and visited a few days ago for lunch.Self-order at the counter and they only accept cash or paylah and there was no printed receipts given upon placing order. There were only an uncle and another lady waiting on tables during lunch hour. The table next to us came in 10mins after we were seated but they received their order before us and they actually ordered pasta and garlic fried rice too.We had to repeat our order to the uncle to check if the food is being prepared. Hope the sliding door of the restroom will be fixed soon as it seemed to be coming apart and it was difficult to close entirely without having gaps of exposure.

β β β β β One of the best fried rice in Singapore.
The Japanese garlic fried rice is light on the palette, not really oily and pleasing to eat till the end.
Portion is huge as well, suggest to share 1 fried rice for 2 pax.
They are generous with the garlic. Definitely recommend ??
