Nagara Thai Gold - City Square Mall

Brought my mum there for lunch and had a pleasant experience :) Service: Service staff were very friendly and polite. Halfway through our meal one of them even came over to ask if we were enjoying our meal, making it feel like one of those atas (posh) restaurants. Food: Food was served quickly (maybe because it was off-peak hours) and tasted good. We ordered Olive fried rice, Pad Thai, Green curry (chicken) and lemon grass with honey. I was impressed by the green curry as it had a generous portion of chicken, with more chicken than vegetables. Most other places I ate at had more vegetables than chicken. Price: I wouldn't say that the food is cheap but it is definitely value for money considering the excellent service and generous portion of chicken in the green curry. It's just slightly more expensive than some of the other Thai food franchises (about $1-2 more per dish) but is worth it if you are around the area and craving Thai food. Overall our meal cost us just $33 and it could have easily fed 3 pax (or even 4 pax if everyone is a small eater)

Food was fantastic! The crispy sweet sour fish and prawn tang hoon were highlights for me, and the prawn cake is just amazing. Service was stellar! Our lady wait staff was pleasant, very helpful, and had the best recommendations. Food shown in picture with one dessert costs approximately $120 for three big eaters, and it was scrumptious. Will definitely patronise again.

Service was good, servings were slightly big, food was delicious and lastly price was reasonable. Had an enjoyable lunch date with hubby on a cloudy Monday afternoon. Highly recommend the deep fried grouper/sea bass with Thai sweet chilli, belacan fried kankong, clear tom yam soup, Tang hoon with prawns and Red Ruby. The Thai milk tea was good too.

Went there last Sunday based on Google reviews. We purposely chosen late afternoon (4pm) to avoid the crowd. Ordered 4 dishes and unfortunately, none is good. Yes, you heard it right, none - literally not good but not to the extend of bad, just below average to be exact. Some say it’s authentic but I beg to differ. Most dishes are overly sweet - should have asked them to cut down on the sugar, so my bad. Also one more thing, waiters are quite hard sell, you know what I mean. The only good thing about this restaurant is it’s price and location. But this is my first and last visit. There are other options within the vicinity.

Flavourful food at affordable prices and a wide choice of Thai food. The service was warm and friendly, multiple staff asking us if everything was okay. The food arrived fairly quickly though not in the order you'd expect. The spicy items were just nicely spiced, you could get the other flavors as well. The deserts are beautifully plated and tasty. Though we were left wishing for sweeter mangoes, given it's Thai mango season now. Overall great value for money.

Haven’t had Thai food for awhile now. Trying out this restaurant and ordered a few dishes for lunch. The prawn cake is their signature dish that is worth to order. You will like it ! No credit card payment but others like paynow or PayLah! Is accepted.

First time trying Thai food at this place, the food is quite good. Just find that some of the ingredients freshness can be better(fish and squid ring) - Tom yum is spicy and nice. The prawn cake and fried pork is delicious too. Drinks are slightly expensive at about $4. Will come back again to try more.

Ordered takeaway and first time here. The male manager at the door was nice and assist me to order vegan food even though there is a queue waiting. He even recommended oriental fried rice which is really good. He knows his stuff. The interior of the restaurant looks cozy too. The prices are reasonable for a restaurant. Looking forward to dine in and try out other dishes soon.
