Most value for money chicken rice, look at the amount of ingredients, can't see the chicken rice. Run by a Hainanese couple, you can't get authentic chicken rice such as this stall. Yummy ???

The chicken rice is so so... the tray cost 50 cents which would be refunded when you return the tray.

I have been eating chicken rice from this stall for the past 30 years. From the day it open as a heartlander's chicken rice stall till one of the most famous chicken rice in Singapore. The rice is very fragrant and not as oily as others. The chicken meat is very tender and juicy. Their chicken porridge is one of the best also, in my humble opinion. Definately, 5 stars chicken rice stall! --‐‐---‐--------- 14/10/2020 Went back to eat my favourite chicken rice. Slightly disappointed because I feel that the rice was not as fragrant as before. I realised the "glossiness" on the rice was also significantly lesser, perhaps this was the reason for it. Less oil, more healthy, but less fragrant. You can't have the best of both worlds. But I still feel that the stall owner should add just a little more oil to the rice to make it taste nicer.

Chicken rice was so-so, chilli lacked punch but the soup was very fragrant. Those who like minced ginger to go with their chicken will be disappointed because it is not provided. Sellers were hygienic and friendly. E-payment was available but the QR code was hidden so you have to ask for it.

Was perhaps misled by the long queue for this stall. The rice was clumpy at times, and felt much too soft. Fragrance was also weak. Chicken was dry and tough even as chicken breast meat go. It also came with a few bones. Chilli was more viscous than the usual, but just as spicy. Not sure how much of things is due to the current chicken supply issue, but in its current state, this stall is not worth queuing for. Pictured is their $5 plate.

TGIF! Lunch today was ??????? ??????? ???? dabaoed from Nam Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice at Bukit Merah Central Food Centre. ?? While their steamed chicken does not have the gelatinous skin that BB would die for, the meat was plump and tender without the chicken smell. The soy sauce mix that was drizzled on the meat brought out the chicken’s natural flavours well. Rice was fluffy and flavourful without being too oily, and BB loves mixing in the chilli and dark sauce to go along with the chicken! The chilli was sufficiently garlicky and veered towards the tangy side. Surprisingly, the heat was tolerable for BB (who has a low spice tolerance), so some people might not find it spicy enough for their liking LOL. Nevertheless, this is one chicken rice I would return to if I am in the area.⁣ ⁣ Wishing everyone a good weekend ahead~⁣ .⁣ ? Address: Bukit Merah Central, #02-28 163, Singapore 150163⁣
