Old skool lor mee. I find really good and not strong taste and salty kind. Comfort food that you can have regularly

Still one of my favourite Lor Mee Stall. Taste doesn't change much over the years. Good portion size and ingredients.

Lor Mee was a little bland for my tastes. The fried dough was really crispy, will be well appreciated by those who like crispy stuff. Gravy was a little bland to me, but the spicy chili made up with its flavor.

$3.50 plus $0.20 surcharge for laksa takeaway. Portion is very generous - half an egg, lots of blood cockles, tau pok and fishcake, additional sambal chili paste on top provides an excellent kick of spice. However, the laksa gravy lacks fragrance and generally light tasting overall. 3/5 stars for laksa, yet to try their lor mee.

3.50 for a good portion of noodles and ingredients. Taste is alright. 6.5/10

Most of the people queuing for the lor mee. It doesn’t appeal to me thou. Maybe I will try the next time. Ordered Laksa. Portion is very generous. Gravy us not too creamy but well favoured with Har Bee and spices. The chillis has a kick too. $4.50 definite very affordable.

#02-18 Soon Huat Lor Mee / Laksa 順發18号滷麵 / 叻沙 For the longest time after the former Bukit Purmei Lor Mee hawker uncle retired, searches were made for a place serving good Lor Mee. A chance visit to Bukit Merah Central Hawker Centre stumbled on to Soon Huat Lor Mee, specialising in Lor Mee and Laksa. That first visit 4 years ago helped to finally find a worthy successor of a Lor Mee. The yummy broth and the crispies used was almost the same recipe as the former Bukit Purmei Lor Mee. A monthly visit was made since to satisfy that Lor Mee craving. Yellow flat noodles in a delightful broth filled with various cuts of braised pork and ngor hiang. Topped with well fried crispies, a healthy dash of vinegar and a big dollop of garlic, it was a meal of blissful proportions. Recent visits though has seen standards dropping. The broth has gotten too starchy, while the crispies have gotten stale. Apparently, the standards here have been fluctuating the past 2 months. It is unknown what is causing the fluctuating standards but this had made the meal here not as great as before. General Verdict: Wonderful Lor Mee standards fluctuating wildly resulting in uncertain standards of which meal will be delivered Opening Hours: Daily 7am-4pm (Closed on Thursdays) Queue Situation: Next to none Price: SG$3/SG$4 Payment Options: Cash, Local Internet Banking by QR code or AMEX (Singapore) Item Ordered: 1) Item: Lor Mee 滷麵 - Large Serving Description: Yellow flat noodles in a delightful broth filled with various cuts of braised pork and ngor hiang Verdict: Acceptable, Order only if you want to try (Rating is reduced due to fluctuating quality of the served dish) Price: SG$4

Chanced upon this stall selling lor mee and laksa the last time i was here for lunch. Seems like a popular stall, noticed many people were having their food. Came back solely with the intention to try their food. Apart from the Lor mee which i came down for, they also sell laksa and prices starts from SGD$3.50 onwards. I had the combination of yellow flat noodle and beehoon. Portion of the noodle was generous. Gravy's consistency was good but lacking in flavor, needs more seasoning. Bowl of lormee came with ingredient like norhiamg, a few fried items which i couldnt identify. Overall, quite value for money. Taste wise, could be better but still a decent bowl of lor mee.
