Nana Original Thai Food (Clementi) - 18 Clementi Rd

Visited on 4th March 2022 Totally dissapointed with the service. I was at the counter and requested to order fir take away and the lady told me to scan and order. I never understood this as I was the only person at the counter. So I did scan but the page didn't load so I requested if I could order she just looked away and said go scan. Omg... I don't care if they are famous or not be polite la. So third world all the workers. Employers please educate ya staff. The customers deserve to be respected.

The food are average. The attitude of the staffs are not friendly made the experience worse. Not recommend to go.

Edit: 14/03/22 Grilled Chicken tastes alright and the beef noodle soup is good. 15/01/2021 didn't know this outlet opens till late. Ordered the basil pork rice and man does it taste good! It's very tasty with the spices and herbs used yet it's not overly too spicy that will burn your tongue off. Highly recommended for a midnight supper or meal after work.

Open for 24hrs and available on grab and food panda services. Advice to order online for picking up your meal to shorten waiting hours Food is nicer and recommended Basil leaf rice series if you’re an spicy person

Adjusted price seems higher but value for money. One of the better thai food at this area. Easy for order and payment using grab.

16/3/2022 12am to 2am supper TLDR: TOM YUM AMAZING AND CHEAP! Other foods worth trying and so-so. Price is a bit on the ex side but quality of food, service, and restaurant is decent! Good vibes with many NUS students and people eating late night comfort meals. Especially large servings (to me) which is good! Edit (23/5/2022): Adding on, their fried rice for sharing is super worth it! Like do u see my pic the size so big omg. Sometimes they mix up orders so don't be afraid to ask staff if you think you have wrong order. Now can sit 5 people so my friends and I went to eat in. Only 20 minutes walk from PGP/30mins from KR MRT when no more shuttle buses. Main star is the tom yum ?! for $13 (seafood flavour) it was damn worth to share among 5 (like 2 full bowls for each person). Looks damn red but is normal spicy level ? and is quite amazing. Very shiok and warms your stomach, filled with lemongrass ? and chilli flakes. Theres bits of crab meat ?, fish ball ?, tomato ?, sotong ?, that really gives it a rich flavour. Highly recco!!! I ordered their chicken fried rice ?($6.50) and it wasn't that good. The rice is plain and the chicken ? is meh, with many stringy bits of fat and plain chewy flesh. My friend ordered their scrambled egg fried rice ($9.50) ?? which tastes much better but at a higher cost. The egg draped over the rice is gooey and complements the rice well. Their thai green milk tea ? ($2) is sweet and yummy! Online menu order allows for less sweet but we alr eating so unhealthy lol so we went all out! The normal thai milk tea ($2) has more tea flavour and stings the tongue in the tea way idk how to describe but is more SIAP yknow. The coconut ($5) is ur normal buy from fruit shop kind at half price, but is very small coconut :(. We had to wait quite a while like 40mins for them to fry up the prawn paste chicken ($12) cause of many delivery orders. (Even though alr they sent out everything except the chicken lol). And it looks pathetic btw :(( so little quantity. But it tastes really really good. Damn juicy, tender on the inside, crunchy on the otuside. Packed with strong flavour. Sad that they give so little. Their basil is delicious with minced meat and beans! And many many many chilli LOL quite spicy so can ask for less spicy. Pleasant atmosphere overall with friends. Plush chairs and good service staff. The air con is nice and the toilet is actually damn clean with toilet paper!! ??? Staff cleans tables and floor very quickly before next customers can sit so very hygienic and clean! Ordering is via QR code scan to place order so is very fast and convenient.

Food tastes good and authentic. Their "normal" spicy level is quite hot, but there are options for less or more spicy, so be sure to adjust the levels accordingly. Be sure to get their Thai milk tea!

Overall of the foods here are nice. The phat Thai a bit wet but the taste are good too. Love the curry that with more milky taste and the pork ribs are good in fragrance. But the pork ribs can be softer a bit will be nicer. Just a personal opinion. Waiting time a bit longer than expected during the peak hour, so do come early because they do a lot of delivery as well. Highly recommended. Thanks.
