★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walk off empty handed cos the female staff got such a lousy attitude that I am amazed that she is working in a retail store. Reluctance to assist me when I wan just want to check the availability of the shoe size i want to purchase. Reply in unfriendly and impatient tone asking me to wait! Wait! Wait!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service by the staff. I visited the store on 10 Sep 21. New Balance was having 40% promotion for 3 items purchased. The staff were friendly and always eager to help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Merchandising is super: intuitive flow and genre segregated. Sales staff (Melvin) is a rare breed- he was actually interested as to why I was walking away.
To cut a long story short, he found out that I needed 4E sizing. And he found a few pairs for me. And he was not dismissive to old uncles.
Most sales people will either say "it's all there," or feigned ignorance about NB's width sizing USP (unique selling point). This knowledge is reserved for very serious runners like this old uncle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my best shoe shopping experience here. Nicole is extremely patient and helped to locate stocks in other outlets resulting in no sales for her as it was buy 2 get 1 free. So decided to just buy 2 tees from her to "compensate" her loss of sales. Will definitely come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a very bad experience this evening. We saw some interesting deals and wanted to check them out. The saleslady kept pushing us towards the more expensive range of sports shoes and dissuaded us from purchasing sales items, saying that there are no good running shoes on discount and that no good shoes can be found on offer.
When my father was walking around trying out the shoe, she even said "why is he taking so long? Like choosing a wife, is it?" (All this happened in front of my mum and me.)
I found that question incredibly insensitive and very untoward.
Please send your staff for more training as she doesn't seem to be fully convinced and confident to promote the "New Balance" brand.
