My family's go-to store whenever we crave for prawn noodles, fry carrot cake n fry oyster over the past 30 years. Tried many others all over Singapore, none matches up especially the carrot cake n fry oyster. Go for the food. Do be prepared to FORGIVE the lady chef for her UNFRIENDLINESS.

Starchy, satisfying plate of Hokkien mee. Ingredients are worth the price paid. The sambal chilli was great. Taste wise I’ve tasted better elsewhere hence 4 stars. A good one if you happen to be nearby.

A decent plate of fried hokkein mee. Eat while hot so it won't get too sticky as it wasn't very wet. Good mixture of crispy fried bits and gooey starchy eggs plus big fresh oysters for the orh jian.

the stall might look small but I'm surprised by the taste of the hokkien noodles which was to my liking. it's the dry type and the chilli was not badddddd. price could be a tad too expensive for a neighbourhood coffee shop though

Always order their trinity - fried hokkien mee, fried carrot cake and fried oyster omelette! All 3 Re exceptionally good. One of the best I would say. My go to stall whenever I crave for any of the 3 hawker favourites.

Decided to this stall selling fried hokkien a try in a coffeeshop on the same row as nang fa and nakhon. Apart from fried hokkien mee, they also sell fried carrot cake as well as fried oyster. The hokkien mee start from SGD$ 4 onwards. The auntie taking my order wasnt excatly the most friendly. Food didnt took long to be ready. Since i can only takeaway, its was understandable that the hokkien mee was slightly drier. Flavour wise, i personally like it a lot. The noodles were flavour as they soaked up all the flavourful stock. This hokkien mee comes with the standard ingredient like prawn, squid and pork belly. The seafood was fresh. For does who enjoy spicy food, the chili packs a punch! Overall, pretty good Hokkien mee, would come back again for the fried oyster and carrot cake.

Flavorful Hokkien Mee in the east with plenty of ingredients. Dryer style of Hokkien mee. Decent chilli. Damage: $6 (medium)

New Generation Fried Hokkien Mee (新时代福建虾面) is found in the newly renovated Yong Li Coffee Station (勇禾禾咖啡站) at Blk 136 Bedok North Avenue 3. The stall sells Hokkien Mee ($5/$8/$10), Carrot Cake (White) ($4/$5/$6) and Fried Oyster ($6/$8/$10). While the Hokkien Mee is the best among the three dishes, the chef cooks the Carrot Cake and Fried Oyster well too. I would dare say that the Hokkien Mee is the best in the Eastern side of Singapore, if not the whole of Singapore. However, do be aware that one of the ladies who tends the stall tends to be overly task-oriented and less friendly than her sister or the male chef. However, on good days or with a select group of people, she can be friendly. Waiting time can be 5-15 minutes depending on the crowd. The food is so good that I didn’t manage to take proper photos before it had been eaten! Great food but not the best service.
