β β β β β Enjoyed quite a generous bowl of traditional dry prawn noodle for $4. The bowl of soup given was more than sufficient. The chilli, lard & slices of pork, prawns & fish cake went with the noodles very well. One of the better prawn noodles I had.

β β β β β Rather new addition to the coffee shop. Went to try the traditional prawn noodle (dry) and dishes turned out to quite good. They are pretty generous with prawn slices. Those are fresh. The soup base is dark in color, prawn taste was strong but can't taste much about the pork ribs. There are 3 noodle varieties: yellow thick noodle, thick vermicelly, and mee pok. There are approximately 9 dishes, price was fair.

β β β β β Owners has changed recently even though stall name remain. The not so good stuffs that usually pertain to stalls that change hands are all apparent here; price increase, portion reduced & standard drops.
Update on 11/7/22:
Previous owner is back and quality resumed including the tendency to overcooked the noodles, but at least it taste good and the portion was as generous as I remembered. They are not exempted from rising food cost hence they make do away with the previous two tier pricing with just one standard price now, and of cos the higher-tier price was kept.

β β β β β Disappointing encounter. Ordered 7 takeaway and ask to add extra ingredients. Astonish to realise there's no prawns and only noodle with a few slices of added pig intestines.

β β β β β Edit: the original owners are back, increased rating back to 4 stars. Definitely competent bowl, price increased to $5 but you get a generous portion of prawn and pork. I feel it's well worth it. Soup is punchy and robust with prawn flavour. Sometimes lacks oomph. Towards the end of the day the soup gets more concentrated
