★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been eating this prawn noodle for almost 20 years. Quite pricy for a bowl of prawn noodle BUT given the cost of the fresh prawn. And rental at Newton. It is consider fair. Loves the soup.... awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Broth was too sweet for my liking. I feel stall owner try too hard to upsell their 8 dollar bowl of noodles. I want just the 5 dollars bowl and after receiving my change I was charged 6 dollars and I asked I thought I ordered the 5 dollars bowl? Was told 5 dollars bowl sold out after I was served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pork ribs prawn noodles' ($8) prawns goes very well with the thick soupy broth. Stall owner was very courteous and knows his prawn mee very well. Would definitely go back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ prawn kway teow dry for $5, portion was very small, ingredients not fantastic, prawns were small and aint succulent, chilli tad sour. only the soup was gd in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Broth is too sweet and salty not to mention the mini prawn. and they are trying too hard to upsell the $8 noodles. i order the $5 noodles and they charge me $6. $1 for the tabao box. will never return again. Totally not recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the broth was on the sweeter side, it was still very umami. The pork ribs tender and fell of the soft bones easily. Stall owners were very friendly and hospitable, bringing the chili powder container for the customers and at times offering tissues. Huge bonus for the soup is that refills are free!
