★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had our dinner here on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is quite empty and were manned by 2 staffs.
Ordered 2 sets of pan mee with chicken (regular) and pork (large) respectively. Waited for 10mins before number being called.
Portion is little, and normal adult could easily finish in few mouthful. Noodle got no diff in regular or large portion and I’m even puzzled whether did they add noodle for me. Personally, noodle is quite underrated and poached egg is not presentable at all.
Besides the noodle, fried chicken and pork are tasty and flavourful, soup are usual pepper soup given complimentary with the dishes.
Out of my expectations, noodle portions are bad, taste nothing special. Only chicken and pork are good.
With these pricing, Im more preferred to usual KL pan mee from Malaysia Boleh hawker centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time try the Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee. Perfect combination of the dry you mian with egg, shallots, fried garlic, ikan bilis and chilli. The chicken cutlet well marinated and it goes well with the you mian.
The soup of the you mian a bit bland, tastes nicer with added chilli padi + soy sauce.
(Ordered Chicken Cutlet Ban Mian and only when soon collecting my order, I realised I did not request to change to you mian. Thankfully, the staff was kind and willingly to change although it was already in the midst of preparation). ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dry pan mee is nice, flavorful with chili sauce. Mid wings are crispy and delicious too. The store open till 5am so it is a good choice for supper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flavour and quality was amazing it's just a little bit expensive. Above average prices that you can get some where else better.
After ordering, you have to wait for your food from the kitchen.
Tried the chicken and noodle combination which was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily located right underneath Hotel G Singapore in Bencoolen, this noodle shop is always full everytime I walk past so warrant a visit. Glad I did cause the noodles had great texture, ikan bilis crispy and the chili mixed well to boost the flavour. Portion was generous, enough to share with another. They were out of veggies so didn't get to try, same with advertised drinks like honey lemon, soursop etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loveeee their chilli, perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Egg is just the right kind of runny and noodles is springy and not over cooked. This is so much better than other more expensive pan mee stalls that I’ve tried around town. Would be good if their soup is hotter, as the few times I ate there it’s always lukewarm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee has been around years ago at is located at the popular Upper Serangoon shop houses rows that is near punggol nasi lemak.
People who are familiar with this place will know that theyly took over the previous coffeeshop space that consist of a few food stalls, one of them sells oyster omelette. It was quite nostalgic as the coffeshop has been there for the longest time.
The coffeeshop area consist of the anchor tenant Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee as well as a few other stalls. These includes breakfast club which sells all day breakfast that includes American breakfast and their signature rossti. There used to be a stalls that sells trotters but it is replaced by a stall selling fish soup now. There's also another new stalls that sells desserts.
Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee has a few options for you to choose from. These includes their signature ban mee ala carte in soul or dry version, or you can get it as a set with a side option of chicken cutlet, pork cutlet, fried fish and etc.
If you're not that hungry, I suggest you to go with their dry Orginal chilli pan mee without any sides. This is a must order dish as it is their signature. One thing to note, I will recommend you not to order takeaway as the dry version pan mee will become hard and it will not be tasty anymore. If you really need to, suggest you to get a packet of soup from them. With the soup, you'll be able to add it in to soften the noodle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two things I like about this noodle is the fragrance chilli and fried garlic. Do ask for more chilli if you prefer more ? spicy. Soup is quite plain. Worth to give it a try if you are around the area.
