2nd visit. Ordered the prawn noodles from other stall and Hokkien mee from this stall as side dish. Not wow but ok. I love char kway teow but this plate of char kway teow the taste was so so and super oily. I went during non peak hours waited about 10 mins. #charkwayteow

Ordered $4 + $2 extra cockles. You'll love the extra cockles if you like the explosive iron taste and mush when you bite LOL. However, little amt of beansprouts, egg and spring onion with large amt of Noodles. On the sweeter side. Chili by default cooked just nice. Ample amt of pork lard. A little salty but OK.

Decent char kway teow, but maybe not worth the long queue. Recommended during off peak hours when queue is shorter. Portion size was good for $6

This is one of my top 5 local char kway teow stalls. Read several reviews that standard has dropped, so came to verify. They still retained the same ingredients of lup cheong, fishcakes, clives and cockles. The crispy pork lard hides within the dish but you know it's there when it crunches in your bite. Taste wise it's still there but probably just slightly lower, maybe due to the different grade of smaller sized cockles. Overall, this is still a decent plate of char kway teow and I would not mind queuing for it.

45 mins queue, worth it? Sadly no, a tad too sweet. Maybe its my palate. But somethings are commendable such as the big cockles, pork lard and the serving.

Really enjoyed this char kway teow … full of flavour, moist and yummy, great mouth feel. Not overwhelming if you get the spicy, which I loved. Opted for the $6 plate, and it was plenty for 2 girls to share … no one walked away hungry. Definitely worth the queue.

Char kway teow stall lives up to its name. Although it is fairly sweet to me, the sweetness level is acceptable. A generous portion for 5 bucks which is the smallest plate. Struggle to finish. I would have been happier if they offered a 4 bucks plate and give me lesser. Too rich for my palate. Like the cockles and the very fresh pork lard. Not too overwhelming. If u are not too hungry or small eater, 2 can share a plate.

Definitely top of my list when it comes to Char Kway Tiao after this visit. ? At $5/6/8 per plate, it isn’t the cheapest out there for a hawker centre, but it certainly served its value right with this level of standard. ? This might just be the cleanest Char Kway Tiao I have ever eaten, in terms of it being not as oily as the usual ones I have eaten. It also comes with pork lard cooked within each plate of goodness, with the occasional bite bursting with flavours within your mouth.. ⏰ Come early, like 12pm sharp, to avoid the long queue that stretches outside the hawker centre!
